I loved the little Dog Soldiers reference in Contingency.

The Campaign is really fun, but yeah, the Multiplayer can be rage inducing. As for Riot Shields, I just stick a Sentax to em, turn, and run like hell.

I don't even bother with explosives facing riot shielders. If you time it right, you can usually gank 'em by going around the side and putting a nice knife in them.

Although it's far, far more satisfying to lead them over a huge chain of claymores brought about thanks to Scavenger Pro

Haven't had too much of a problem with campers. The fact that you can see the kill cam, come armed with flash and sticky grenades, wall piercing bullets, heart beat sensors, and riot shields pretty much makes camping useless.

Why? I'm enjoying this one much more than I ever did the first. Granted, I didn't really play the first game multiplayer a whole lot but I've been playing the sequel even more than L4D2.

In the first game I played 20v20 almost exclusively, so the 9v9 cap was a downer right off the bat. Add in some of the more excessive combinations, and it turns me off in the same way that lots of GW's game design does (make a series of rules, and then give players the power to break those rules).

Giving the good players rewards for playing well so they do even better? At least they aren't hiding it in this one... Tactical Nuke? Your team instantly wins if you're awesome enough?

It's really sad that the current crop of CoD games still manage to beat most other shooters each year...

Campers are a a pain in COD MW2 but it happens and you get better for it and know they will go their and can counter those that try to repeatdly go to same area on the crane in highrise, or a highwindow in quarry, after awhile it will just be second nature to make sure you cover those areas and the second a camper shows himself put some m16 rounds in him

The Tactical Nuke is damned near impossible to get, unless you have your ENTIRE team covering you and making sure you're kept alive to get something like 22 kills without dying.

I've had four Nukes go on, only one of them was on my team, and another one of them was by an Aim Botter.

I don't really mind Campers, it's the people with the frakking Aim Bots.

People knock on the 360, but I don't have to deal with aim bots and wall hacks.

Your a complete noob. I dont even have the game yet, but I see loads of players like you, you think you're HaRdC0rE because you camp and use n00b guns.

Sometimes, people will know your walking round the corner and they will stop and wait (via HBsensors or UAV's)

Most people will still complain about that and class it as camping, however, it doesent get more annoying than a FAMAS or a M16 hiding in a corner all game.

Which is why they invented such a class

Main: Riot shield (not for use, just to stop being shot in the back when moving)
Sencondary: Model 1888 with Akimbo and FMJ's

Equip: Claymore
Gren: Smoke

Perk 1: Bling pro
Perk 2: stopping power pro
Perk 3: scrambler pro / ninja pro / cold blooded pro (depending on situation and compaers weapons lol)


Simple class to use.
Your sencondary is capable of killing anyone with ease at some decent distance (for a shotty anyways)
Simply sneak up to them, kill them, and drop a claymore in place of where they were.
Chances are they will go back.

If you cant get to them easily throw a smoke and run through it, keep an eye out for thier tag to appear, or the hairs go red.



Saying this, you do get alot of abuse from people for using this class
Much like i do with my ACOG M21 class, or my holo FAL class




Loss, how does he use a noob wep mate?
All he said was he has a tube with him.
Which when playing campers really does make them move.
Much like using a shield and throwing knife

He said Noob-tube, I assumed it was a noob weapon, but on most games campers generaly use noob weapons, such as the MP40.

Nube tube is the grenade launcher, which we now affectionally call the Pro-pipe

You sir, are worse than Hitler. Camping sucks, but the guys running around with a pair of shotguns are worse. It looks stupid, and the only way to beat it is to outsmart the guy, and open fire hoping you score a headshot before the guy spots you and fires his ludicrously overpowered shotguns. Or to use noobtubes, and that's probably the only thing worse than double shotties.

I mean, ultimately, if you're having fun you're having fun and I really don't like the idea of telling other people what combinations they shouldn't and shouldn't use, but damn those shotguns piss me off.

I played a game on the sub-base last night, this one guy stood in a corner all game with the grenade launcher mounted. He ended up like 3 kills one death, but it was Domination and we got thrashed. It was just odd.

If someone gets 25 kills without dying, odds are his side was about to win anyway. I've been on the receiving end of tactical nukes twice, and a guy on my side delivered one in another game. In each case the nuke just delivered a mercy kill to a really one-sided match.

Killstreak rewards are fun. Sure, they benefit the good players, but it isn't necessarily fun to focus entirely on levelling out the playing field - it's fun to get a reward for doing well.

The best part of Killstreak Rewards is watching some of the people Rage when I repeatedly blow up their copters and harriers the moment they arrive. I don't carry that Stinger on my back everywhere I go for show!

My comment on the nuke was a tad sarcastic, but I don't find it fair (or fun) to beat someone because the game did it for me. Of course it's more common (for me at least) that I'm beaten by airdropped killstreaks via care packages. EMP in the first minute of gameplay pisses me off.

yeah, I'm lovin' my shotguns at the moment. They're far better than they were in CoD 4.

However, i wont use 2 in a row if i get them (by this i mean end 1 game, then get another next game and use)

Heck, they're more accurate than my AT4HS.

And don't even get me STARTED on the LMG "snipers". They made it FAR too easy to sit there using open sights and burst fire to snipe with those friggin' things.

If you want a game where no one camps, try Team Fortress 2.

In real world combat games though, it's a useful and fun strategy. I like the sneaky feel of finding some place to hide and when a group of 3 guys run through, shoot them all in the back and hide somewhere else. Learn to check your surroundings better if it truly annoys you.

That's not really camping. That's just playing the game correctly.

But that's how LMGs are supposed to work. They're somewhat more effective at range, but much slower to aim than assault rifles, I think it's a fair trade-off.

Well no. They're more effective at range due to volume of fire.

I'm talking about the guys who single shot you from across the map, as you're dialing in for a shot with the Intervention with Thermal Sight.

If you want a fun combination. Use a riot shield with the throwing knife. You can hold down the grenade button which will aim the knife and keep the shield up. When you see a target, wait for them to reload or try to throw an explosive and let the knife fly.
