I've painted Orks and Grots with normal human flesh colours which makes them look really mean and evil...

mine are blue. I'm trying to figure out the RPJ issue as well on my new trukk. Of course, my orks have this whole thing about liking blue...but then my dread is blue and it doesn't go any faster...
hmm. I could just make like Homer and add some "speed holes". That seems Orky.

In a Society in which there is no law, and in theory no compulsion, the only arbiter of behaviour is public opinion. But public opinion, because of the tremendous urge to conformity in gregarious animals, is less tolerant than any system of law. When human beings are governed by "thou shalt not", the individual can practise a certain amount of eccentricity: when they are supposedly governed by "love" or "reason", he is under continuous pressure to make him behave and think in exactly the same way as everyone else.

My gray-skinned orks would be pretty upset if there were such a rule!
Grey Hulk!
I think any dark color works well for Orks. I can't imagine pasty, pastel Orks are going to look good, whereas black Orks a la WFB would be natural.

Orks look good in any colour.
Why? Because they say so!
