For your dread, you could always go grab an old Epic Scale Titan off ebay. There are always plenty of them available and some with really cool designs.
I'm not sure it would work perfectly, but it should be close enough to scale.

The marine itself does look... erm... super cute. But what really catches my eye is the details, like the shortened chainsword, bolter, and stunted backpack. Excellent eye for detail, I love it.

Yes, I "know" that. I can see it in the picture. Look between the "foot" and the arm. You'll see the same join of two shoulderpads that make up the head only upside down. The head/body is basically a big oval. The feet are simply glued onto the seam that joins the abdomin together. As for what bits are attached to the torso, I can't tell because the bolt pistol is in the way.

So you were just guessing.
But good spot on the torso part. You can indeed see the join between the shoulder and the foot.
Any ideas about the bits for the torso?

The "Know" part in my post referred to something more along the lines of;
"Yes, I know these because I made them."
"Yes, I know these because a friend of mine made them."
"Yes, I know these because I have several pictures from different angles."
- sort of thing.

Gonna have to settle for "Yes, I know this because I looked at the model and figured out how it was done."
I did make one error... there are no actual arms. The hands are either glued directly to the shoulder pad (in the background figure) or the bolt pistol is glued to the shoulderpad and the hand is just hanging.

Which of course isn't remotely the same thing, but OK.
Good call on the torso. And yeah, I noticed y´the same thing about the arm.
I wish we had a picture from the back showing how the backpack is made smaller (assuming it is).

I don't think the backpack is shorter. It was made narrower by removing the small segment that joins the round "thruster/exhaust" bits to the pack itself. Not a huge difference but it does make a thinner profile.

Seriously, can anyone find out who did this? Or perhaps one of the excellent modellers here will be up to the challenge or reproducing it!
Dakka_X3, I think you have a good start but I'd have these comments for your next one:
-The ones in the original picture just have hands, no arms
-It would look more proportional if you cut down the weapons a bit
-The banner is a bit too tall for the little fella, I think

All built out of 'official' GW parts too, so it would be 'game legal'!
Though in this TLOS world, it COULD be seen as an attempt to abuse certain rules.
Though their shortness would work against them there as much as it worked for them!
