The point of this forum is to drunkenly rant about whatever isn't in the other thingies.... to whine about game store kids, model molesters, or that tournament gamers ate my baby. Scratch that, the last one probably goes in the tournament gamer asylum.

Anyways, this forum exits for little purpose now, but does serve as the "not the other topics but tangentially hobby related" forum.

I'm going back to the asylum now.

Better than if you came too early.

Realistically, though, there are a variety of things that still fall into this category.

1) The aforementioned whining about GW
2) Mini companies (miniatures, not small companies, or companies for midgets. those belong in OT)
3) Mini stores (see above note)
4) Mini enthusiasts (Once again, not midgets, unless they're midgets who love them some wargaming)
5) Whining about tournament gamers (though with all the tournament gamers moving to their own forum this will be more of a circle jerk than a flame war)
6) Anything that really belongs in off topic, but you were able to legitimize by linking it to wargames in an obscure fashion (Check out my halloween costume! I'm going as a 60's era moviegoer, and I used GW boxes to make the frame of my 3d glasses.)
7) Recursive discussions where we discuss, in this forum, how there's nothing worthwhile to discuss in this forum.

Also, as this thread has demonstrated, 8) an innocuous first post that turns into rampant innuendo before the end of page 1.

Oh, crap, now I can see it too.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

You're sarcasm is now so great that you're approaching sincerity from the other side H.B.M.C. Soon you'll just be a jumbled mess of half-beliefs and conflicted by your desire to play RAI, but only able to follow the RAW. You'll end up a broken gamer, huddled in the corner of the FLGS, muttering to yourself and writing insane scrawls about the Chaos Codex...

I can't wait!
