I'm not a huge fan of the series, but I must give credit where credit is due, and I have to say that Halo 3 is the king of all FPS. The shear amount of customization you can do with it makes it so, in mein eyes.

King of FPS is Unreal Tournament anyway.

I meant in the console land, in which case, yes, yes it is.

Forge, Customization options, basically all I'm saying is is the video game has its own SPORT, its got a pretty good set of customization tools.

Game types isn't all that much either. :\ It's just that today's FPS pretty much end with DM, TDM and CTF.

And halo shines best in big CTF games if you ask me

Beta's probably not even gonna last a month

I think the Halo 3 beta lasted about 3 weeks, and it's been said that Reach's probably won't exceed that.

I feel odd about the whole 'credits' thing in the Beta, buying your own armour pieces? But it's not too bad I guess. I'd love to see some armour permutations in the actual game that you unlock through the Campaign. Plus, I can't wait to see all the multiplayer maps. Hopefully they made a new Foundry/Sandbox like map.

Very likely there will be armour permutations you unlock via campaign, and I believe you'll also be earning Credits via campaign achievements.

However, they're still also finessing the Credits thing to begin with, which is partially why we have the beta
