Occasionally I'll toss on a movie or something and listen to it, but that distracts me sometimes since I get interested in it and start watching it

However it's not as big a problem when I'm cleaning mold lines/flash because that, to me, is the worst and most boring part of modelling.

I don't listen to music while working, usually, since it's not convenient. In a little over a month I'll have moved into my new place, with my hobby space in the bedroom, making it easy to play CDs, stream web-radio, watch movies (we don't bother with cable), etc. as I work, which I will undoubtedly do.

While I don't listen to music while I paint, my modus operandi lately has been to play Robotech videos via Hulu in the background while I paint. Only problem is that after a couple hours, I get the Robotech music stuck in my head.

No, please don't hold back, tell me what you really think...

With hindsight I agree, still getting used to the editor.

I yanked the listing out of Itunes and into excel to clean it up and then copy pasted into the editor.

Was having an issue with trying to insert a "tab" to make a proper gap between songs / artists but was not getting the desired result.

I was not going to go to every line and pound space bar, yes, I am that lazy, sorry.

Will try to minimize your suffering by going through the FAQ again... (grumble)

I go back and forth. Sometimes in silence and sometimes listening to http://www.musicofyourlife.com/ . A lot of the standards, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, big band type era stuff. A lot more relaxing since painting is a lot more focused slow task in the first place. All the metal listed along with the techno, trance, and eurobeat I like to listen to when I'm working out or doing something involving moving. But would just seem too fast for me for painting, I'll have to give it a try sometime though. I've tried to paint while having webcast seminars playing with mixed results. Thanks for the links to the internet radio sites. Only two I currently use are the Music of your Life's and Pandora.
