You're not the only one fella. Playing War Of The Ring, with my Dwarves shooting up the White Council. Needed sixes to damage, with every three causing a casualty, reducing it's overall effectiveness.

In a single turn, 60 shots went there way. Not. One. Blood. Six.

Add in that the dice refused to grant me priority, and half my army refused to turn up until the last minute, and I wasn't especially happy.

Still pounded the pansy Elves though. Turns out nobody likes having Gimli thrown at them.

couple recent occurences:

25 attacks needing 4s -> ~10 1s and 10 2s and 3 leaving me with a whopping 5 hits...

a recent game against Eldar where pretty much every melta shot failed to wound and losing 3 TH/SS termies right after they deep striked. Not to mention various other irksome happenings. I was not a happy camper.

I just checked out www.random.org to see if it might be viable for gaming when I forgot my dice...

...rolled five times, the results were 5,6,6,5,5! Go electronic dice!

I use pink dice for my Daemon army, and had an amazing round with skulltaker last night, vs abbadon, 6 saves in a row, and eventually took his head.

Eternal Plague

Have you ever "trained" your dice?

Gather all the little buggers together and select the one that has caused you the worst rolls. Place it in a glass of water overnight. Make sure the other dice see what you are doing.

Next morning, take out the offender from the glass, place it in plain sight so everyone can see, and scream at the top of your lungs, "THIS IS WHAT YOU GET FOR FAILING ME!!!!" and then proceed to smash it into powder with a hammer.

That should fix your bad dice problem as the remaining dice have now been properly "trained."

I totally agree with this. Ive seen many a brought in g/f being forced to play a game to spend some "time" with the b/f. And they have this face going on, and roll like the 6s are weighed down. But then Ill come in and be super happy "YEA SUCKAS! EAT SOME LEAD! DAKKA DAKKA DAKKA DAKKA!"
Boom, boyz shootin like snipers. I tell people when they start getting into a stink about loosing or what have you, to get excited and happy and start rollin them damn dice like your going to cut me in 2! It usually works

I think my dice were mocking me the most recent time I played Warmachine. I kept rolling 1 under what I needed to hit for an entire turn.

I run plasma gun plague marine squad. There's two of them in the squad and they might get to fire 4 times each a game (on a heavy use game).

I lose a plague marine every. single. game.

Chance on a lost plague is what...2.5%?

Last game - 6 wounds and 3 instakills assessed against my berzerkers. Rolled 5 1's and a 2. Goodbye squad.

I'm not like them, but I can pretend.

Observations on complex unit wound allocation: If you're feeling screwed, your opponent is probably doing it right.

My favorite is the last time I played a Kill teams game. I had 7 guardsmen all with plasmaguns.

I rapid fired. 5 died before my opponent rolled a single dice. And the other 2 missed.
