Awesome! I'd make it double headed, though.

Looks great, if I was to change anything i'd use green stuff to make the axe head look bigger.

I like it, i could to with a VERY small amount taken off the length (only around 3-4mm). Looks good tho, cant wait to see some paint on in!

Conventionally it looks like a two handed weapon.
Yer man has a shield which means he uses it one handed.

However...
SW's get the shoot bolters as pistols rule so you could assume similar for his great weapon as it looks cool

Looks good. I can imagine him running into battle holding it behind his shield across his chest, 2 handed, to carry it and then doing an almighty swing and cleaving multiple targets per shot.

Thanks for the insight everybody. I have decided to make this 2 headed, and I'm considering removing the little powerbox unit, but I am not sure of that yet.

I like when space marines carry massive CCWs. I have a sgt with a massive two handed sword that he is swinging one handed and it looks awesome... it's a tribute to they're super human strength. I'd say, leave as is

I'd shorten it as the Poster with the Image suggested, if you wanted to at all - I'm not sure that it's necessary, as the Huge Axe certainly looks impressive and dominating - and then, if you feel it lacks beef, then make it Double-Edged.

I think making it double-edged is all it would need, as IIRC axes use long handles to increase the force of the impact, and considering the things the average SW needs to take on, (Carnifexes, DPs, LR, etc) he would need a pretty big axe!

Very well done, I like the conversion.

My opinion would be an extra bit of length behind the hand, so it looks 2 hand useable would also make it seem more balanced in the marines hand.

Krusnikk - i disagree, the way i see it he has already brought it back with two hands and is then doing the last half of the swing with one hand due to the bulk of his shield.
