That's an absolutely ridiculous excuse, used by someone who doesn't know how to run Tau properly.

In my opinion, of course.

Versteckt in den Schatten deines Geistes.

Codex: Inquisition - a full Codex encompassing all three major Ordos, along with their Chambers Militant.

--- OR ---

Codex: Adeptus Mechanicus - a Codex filled to the brim with Tech-Priests, Electro-Priests, various types of Skitarii and Servitors, plus some really crazy stuff like the Legio Cybernetica.

With those, 40K would be complete.

I still disagree with ^ that, and think that the SoB, GK, and possibly DW need their own codices, whereas the Inquisition needs to have one big codex (with the ability to take DW, GK and SoB allies).

I'd say that SoB could go in the Ordo Hereticus/Inquisition codex if SoB was part of the Ordo Hereticus. But they're not, so.

The Codex that scarskull5 made is relly good but there are little HQs and lacks Dedicatded transports .

The biggest indicator someone is a loser is them complaining about 3d printers or piracy.

Codex Cthulhu!

Plenty of troop types, especially Mi-Go and Great Race of Yith, and Monstrous Creatures galore!

I'd love to see the Space Marines take on the scariest mythos ever!

TYVM, I just used whatever actually exists for covenant forces, so it's not exactly my fault for lack, I probably could have made more HQ's though. Still TY for feedback.

I concur, when we played a doubles game and my demon hunter partner smoked some stuff tau friend started with the QQ and I told him 'well its an old codex and therefore sucks by your rationale.' He was not impressed.

Geez. Tell him to get a grip or try a different codex, whining is unacceptable.

I'd lay into him, and possibly pimpslap his whiny little ass, but then I also lack common sense and enjoy looking for a fight. So, y'know. Don't do that maybe.

Just saying.

You're muscling in on my business plan, sir!

One more idea, Codex Superhero Comic Characters! The rules for that would be interesting. Presumably Superman would have a 1+ Invulnerable save!

Oh, and how about Codex Ewoks?

This is Daemonic Cheese:

No such thing.

Hell no. I would accept Codex: Wookiees, but Codex: Ewoks is right now.

I like the drow. They have a certain flair about them that needs to compiled together. A codex would be good.

Also, Codex: Internet would be cool too.

The drow are much more spider-y and scary than the DE. The drow worship completely different things. Honestly, they're nothing alike, dunno what you're talking about.

Evil version of elves, who enjoy a hedonistic lifestyle and delight in torture, and only strike out from their safe haven in piratical raids or hired out as mercenaries?

To hell with spider-worship, that's purely superficial. Drow and Dark Eldar are exactly alike in every way that counts.

This could work really well, I have the Arkham Horror board game and there's plenty of stats for all the different mythos monsters. You could even include the concept of a 'doom track', so you roll for the arrival of the Ancient One instead of for the end of the game, and unless the 'goodie' tables the mythos player (or seizes all the objectives) before the game ends, they auto-lose.

HQ - Masks of Nyarlathotep, star spawn

Elites - Gugs, Elder things, Dark Young, Vampires, Flying Polyps

Troops - Cultists, Zombies, Ghouls, Maniacs, Deep Ones

Fast Attack - Fire Vampires, Mi-Go's, Dimensional Shamblers, Byakhees, Hounds of Tyndalos

Heavy Support - Cthonians, Formless Spawn, SHOGGOTHS

As for other codices, I'm with the Mechanicus votes. Proper rules for Knights and Electro-priests in 40k would be lovely.

Codex: Civilians is another great one. I also like the idea of codices for lower-tech worlds, bring back the old 2nd Ed Daemon World armies (chaos trolls in space!), Codex: Camarilla (oh go on let me use Thaumaturgy on Terminators), Codex: Iron Men, Codex: Hard Sci-Fi for the complete clash with 40K's perceptions of sci-fi, Codex: Babylon 5 (starfuries as fast attack, you know you want to) and lastly, Codex: Wee.aboo for Str10 Ap1 Katanas, Ninjas that infiltrate like Marbo, thrown weapons deadlier than boltguns and everyone's fists count as Power Weapons.

Codex: Emu

Every HQ, Elite, Troop, Fast Attack, Heavy Support, are just differently sized and colored Emu's.

But in all seriousness, I'd love a Codex: Dwarves. Not Squats.
Squat is a stupid name. They were dwarves in space. So call them fething Dwarves.
