It is currently year 22 in Japan. So the date is 22 . 9. 5. Year Month Day.
They drive on the left side of the road. I've vast experience in driving on both the right and left sides of the road. The right side is easier than the left. Indonesia is the hardest.

I read it was supposedly due to the fact that the majority of people are right handed. Meaning that in a car where the steering wheel is on the left hand side, they remove their strongest hand (in terms of coordination) when they use the gearstick, turn off the radio etc. etc.

Which goes back to the point KK made about hemisphere dominance, with left side dominance in right handed people, and right side dominance in left handed people.
