Alright did my test model today, here it is. Looking for some feedback on the Brass and the Scar tissue on his face. Suggestions on the coloring, also any other feedback is always appreciated. Also all the models will get a coat of blood on weapons and the like in the future, but today was about the basics and how the paint scheme would come out pre-blood.

Awesome looking traitor guard, liking what I see on the test model nice clean lines and fairly decent detail. I'm assuming you will be adding several layers of wash to get that gritty feeling. One last note, although the idea for the "bag heads" is an awesome one, using actual miniature sewn bags isn't quite working. The bags need to be much narrower. I would suggest a green stuff attempt instead, it may be far simpler to sculpt rater than sew.

Been a few weeks since I posted anything been busy and been waiting on some stuff I ordered. This is the first attempt at the Heavy Wep team using bodies in replacement of sand bags. All in all for my first time at the concept i'm satisfied with it, but I know what i'm going to do differently next time. The clay is going to be painted as sand, the bodies will be inside a "Dune" or at least that's the idea. What do you guys think?

I prefer Commander #2, if only because #1 has a GL, which isn't legal as for now (but he is awesome, no worries!)
I also like the Sentinel, it's well converted & has some nice additions!
As for the heavy weapons team, that's a total win for me!!! I was thinking of using the corpses on a Rhino or Chimera, but I could steal your idea instead!!
I do have a question for squad #3 : is there a reason behind their masks? You should provide with a minimum of fluff to draw some more attention...

I'm in the process of writing out all the fluff for each squad, but basic idea was that they had they're facial skin flayed somehow and now wear the masks to hide (and protect the sensitive skin). How that happens I don't know yet, still working out the idea behind it. Once I get all my fluff squared out i'll be posted it in this blog. Also been working on Squad 5 really excited with the next squad and curious to see the feedback they get. Gonna try to get them up sometime tomorrow or Friday.

Nice autocannon team!
Sentinel is definetly my favourite. I like the posing too. I hate sentinels that look like they are running hurdles in olympics.

That autocannon team is great!
IMHO - the bodies aren't dead, it looks to me that they have been animated some way and are trying to stop incoming fire - that would be an cool rule; animated corpses = hard cover

Youre an amazing sculptor, one of the best ones I have seen on an army scale, but youre painting lets you down.
To bring out the best in this army, you need to practice washes, highlighting and improve youre neatness. Awesome heavy wep and sentinel. PErfect!
