What thickness of plasticard are you using?

I just bought a bits bag of ebay and it has some really messed up tanks that your thread has inspired me to convert.

Background info is that I'm experienced gamer and painter but a noob converter, so any little tricks for working with the material would also be a help too. Cheers

I am really not sure on thickness.

I buy my plasticard from Lowes. I buy for "for sale signs". Lowes has 2 different thicknesses for their signs.

the price is way cheaper then buying a little sheet from a hobby store.

I use predominantly 1mm, with 0.4mm for detail work - if that helps. Occasionally 2mm - but that starts to become too much hard work
