Versteckt in den Schatten deines Geistes.

The last time someone started a "things you do want thread" some people started talking about Adeptus Mechanicus and Deathwatch and a few other things and Kanluwen came in and told us how wrong we all were for wanting them.

And the thread derailed.

For Space Marine related things i actually do fancy Mechanicus , infact i have bunch of miniatures ready to convert / use.
But problem is i cant figure out what codex rules to help create them , suggestions?

However , i also agree what we dont need more of ( atm ) are more marines... no im not jumping the bandwagon and yes i do realize they make up for most of GW sales , but...
they are E-V-E-R-Y-W-H-E-R-E . Thank god Dark Eldars are out now , maybe the army pool will be more diluted...

How more variety in the stuff people actually buy and use alot rather then niche products already in a niche market.

What do you think there are enough of out there?

And I don't mean Space Marines.
What's wrong with zombies? You can never have enough of those!

As for Germans, they make everything better, just look at the last two world wars.

There are 3847384737374689759674976976904 companies out there that make zombies. Enough is enough. I would bet for every Space Marine out there, there is 1 zombie figure.

And there are several ranges of Nazi Zombies.

Dwarfs are another race that too many companies make. Even more then elves.....

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

You can always make more zombies because in the end that's all that will be left.

I think we don't need any more varieties of flavored beverage. Haven't they found the one drink to rule them all by now?

We don't need any more angry war gamers. I myself refuse to buy any more of them. Cheerful, rainbow smelling (yes, I know what I said) wargamers who just want to play nice: those we need more of.

On that note, I want Skitarrii.

The description at the end of Titanicus made me want a mini of one.
Spoiler:
The skitari that finds Samsteg and the Princeps at the end. He just sounded like it would make an awesome kit.

Actually, we've found 3: Mountain Dew, Dr. Pepper (or his less-qualified brother, Mr. Pibb), and Cherry Crush.

That being said, I think we need more of GW's models to come with more bitz and bobs, not these minimalist, stripped out kits we seem to get all too frequently. Hate to say it, but the honest truth is that they just don't come with enough.

Not just you. I could live each day to its fullest if I never saw another f***ing Ork come out of Forge World again. In fact, I could live each day to the fullest if the Orks got the Squat treatment forever and were relegated back to Fantasy where they belong.

I can think of a handful of new space marine products that would sell.

A Chaplain and or Librarian boxed set, like the current commander boxed set, that let's you customize your chaplain.

Same for a techmarine.

.
A plastic Titan (Like the orks have their stompa in plastic).

I dont play marines, and dont plan to, but i would buy, build and paint all of those, just for the sheer coolness they would be.

Esp if they did a plastic Knight Paladin...its the SM equal of the stompa so not unrealistic at all.

Im kinda split on the Orks in 40k. While they have some cool minis and seem like they can be a fun army to, I HATE their fluff. They are almighty stupid yet they have a "natural" ability to build things like laser weapons, tanks, and starships? Maybe something more like the Mangalores in The 5th Element...still not terribly smart but at least believable in a sci-fi setting.

well I used to collect 40k orks so I dont hate them or anything, I just no longer see them as a compelling Sci-fi race and would rather leave them for the fantasy like khestra said. On the other hand I love squats so my taste is questionable

While I think this movie looks cool.....again, something we need less of: movies where women kick ass.

I'm tired of men being emasculated and always being the bad guy in movies. There's a reason why in the last 15 years or so women have started getting better grades in schools and dominating in the business world...we live in an anti-man society now.

More Expendables!
