P.S. they kammandos paint job is great as well.

Plus it's fairly credible that a GW marketing campaign for their biggest release would fit on one side of A4 - Flashman

'Ere we go

With WAAAGH! Grimsnaga well underway things were going well, Warlord Grimsnaga had been wreaking havok in Segmentum Ultima and they began intercepting imperial cruisers and then shutting down communication outposts. This had created one hell of a nightmare for imperial officials. The orks seemed to always be one step ahead of the Imperium. This meant the orks were able to absolutely decimated the world Dacia without much resistance. They then stripped the world of resources and then headed for the next closest Imperial world; Rigant. Luckily the orks were intercepted by The Adeptus Astartes Chapter The White Scars, where the suspected ork WAAAGH! was held off for a short period of time. Unfortunately they couldn't halt the wave that had started, and the WAAAGH! was now rumbling on, the orks had made planet-fall on the world of Rigant soon after. Thankfully unlike the world of Dacia, the 48th Tallarn tank company had dug themselves into the mineral rich, yet ash covered plains of Rigant. The orks had met heavy resistance, the Tallarns had been well prepared and had hundreds of Leman Russ Tanks at hand. As well as a dozen Super-Heavy class tanks at disposal they were well fit to hold off the orks for a lengthy period of time. If worst came the Dark Angels 5th company were available in orbit ready to provide orbital support on call. On the 9th Day of the Assault the orks had made their first major push. To counter the spearhead of tanks that were headed towards the tank line a totally of 30 Leman Russ Tanks with variants and 1 Stormsword were set up to flank the approaching vehicles.

PART 1
Big Mek Lugnutz Watched with delight. All of his kreationz were now roaring towards the enemy and he could see many of them in action for the first time. He also looked to his left through his super-optiks, and saw his small cobbled together band of tankbusta's 'eaded towards his prize. "Stoopid oomans." Lugnutz thought to himself, the day before the kommandos had intercepted the plans of the flanking tank patrol to halt the approaching ork tide. "Dey Really fink we's dat stoopid?" lugnutz thinks to himself again, he did not care for the Leman Russ tanks, they meant little to him, but the real prize was the super-eavy tank he noticed. For years Lugnutz had been eying up a super-'eavy tank he could work his magick on, but all previous attempts had failed miserably. Quite often his tankbusta's got a bit carried away with the metal behemoths, they didn't seem to know when to stop slamming tank-amma's into the iron beasts. This time was different though, the month before, Lugnutz had made special rockets to detonate on command, just in case any ork got the tank busting buzz they would meet a nasty 'bang' before any of dem could react. "Hur hur hur." The Big Mek laughed to himself, "Dis is gonna be one 'elluva interestin day."
to be continued...

I always wanted to make a skullhammer, as I love making killer centerpieces.
So, with the recent new apocalypse release, the shadowsword kit was obviously a great place to start.
I have widened the tracks and jacked up the suspension (MEGA-pain in the arse)!
But now I'm stuck, I can't figure out what to do next

*note that the gun housing isn't stuck on, just there to give you a better idea

Get the picture?
the tracks are pretty zoggin uge.
As always C & C welcome, and please, give any ideas forwards, they will be helpful
cheers

Woah. I just heard wind of this thread today, and, having read through it, have already had some inspiration from your orky creations. I love your big boss and mek, especially in their whole 'never too much' attitude. If I may, I might suggest you could, just about, build some special character rules for them off of the rules for Deff Dreads. May sound a bit silly, I'll allow, but really, what are orks if not silly? I wait in anticipation for how you build this skullhamma of yours.
