Well, I for one am glad to see that this vital segment of the local economy could be on the mend. The worst thing that could happen IMO is if the Deepwater Horizon is allowed to become the Three Mile Island of the drilling industry.

- Current estaimates are 3,000 - 5,000 jobs are gone.
- Moratorium is off but if you don't permit them or make the costs too high its irrelevant. Thats whats being done in shallow water currently. Permits are being delayed.
Making CEO's signoff on safety, a sort of Sarbanes Oxley for the Gulf of Mexico is going to have a serious impact.
