I think a pickuptruck would be more their style. There are too many of them for a mini I think - post pics with a model for scale?

Thanks guys. I've been sanding down the coat, ready to fill the gaps that are left. Hopefully later today.
weety : The scales a bit off, the pick-up's only slightly bigger than the mini Mini has a dreadlocked driver.

They do look right scale wise. I can see I will have my work cut out making working vehicles out of them. I'm new to vehicle conversion but I'm sure I will be like a duck to water. Where do you get your plasticard from? - never used it before but I think its the tool for the job - milliput for the wheels, big gun on the back. I need a couple of plastic orlocks to slice and dice for driver and gunner then I'm set!

As someone who spends a large amount of time in pick-ups (avoiding goats) I think if you add a tad to the front of the silver truck, and then add the equivalent of a wheel frame length to the boot section of the back (after wheel) it would look pretty much perfect scale (with wheels). I'm 6'3 and come just a bit over some of the trucks I ride so it is about the right i guess...
Don't know how much work that really entails...
Weety...time to look at your blog after too long...

Wasn't there a Deff Skwadrun comic called Catch the Squidgeon might be a place to look for ideas?

Hmmm... What do you think about renaming this "Da Waaaghky Races"? Every time I see "Worky" I see "Work-y" not "W-orky" "Waaaghky" seems a bit closer to "Wacky"in pronunciation too... Just a thought, feel free to ignore!

Weety- Man, I am definitely NOT a scratch building pro (I use plastic plates for plasticard) but I find if you use cheap materials along with spare bitz and add enough detail you can get proffesional results cheaply and easily in the comfort of your own home!

Good point on the pronunciation Arakasi, I'll switch the title momentarily.
Plasticard should be available from any decent model shop, anywhere that sells model railway stuff is a pretty good bet too.
Yeah, he used to be a wood elf till he grew the dreads The original plan for the mini was to have red, yellow and green washes over the silver.

I saw this insane card construction and immediately thought of this project. http://www.hokenstrom.com/flaklypa.html. Unfortunately I can't work out where to press to get the kit or what scale it is but man is that some good orky craziness all the better that its real. I've got plans if I'm ever good enough at assembling these to try to use it to make a Kult Kustom Speeda.
