Are you super cereal?
I don't have a fething clue what that means, but I have a sneaking suspicion that I might be.
Also, I did vampire roleplaying. There was SOME foam sword-play, but it was mostly getting pissed with fit goth birds whilst pretending to be a vampire, and occasionally shouting numbers at each other...
Pretty sweet, in other words.

Id believe it. Ive met some rather "loose" women at local Ren Fests and the like. Start talking with an accent and pretend you slay dragons, and your set

Meh, that talk smacks of one nerd justifying his hobby over another nerd's. Sorry, but fail.
Larping, on-line gaming, warhammer 40k, D&D, historical reinactments, quilting bees, watching paint dry and other activities are all hobbies.
No need to bash another hobby to make you feel better. Except furries. Those guys are lame.

I do both or have done both. Both larp and pen and paper rpg. I enjoyed the larp more so. I also didn't say that table top rpgs were uncool. I merely said that a re-enactment was better.

Fair enough, and understandable. My first read was harsher than what you had intended, I guess.
Carry on!

The one with the wazzer pair of jugs in the first picture is taken by the guy guzzling the water (and is in fact sat right next to me)
The blonde in the last photo, far as I know, is taken.
And whilst the pink haired one is indeed pretty much anyones, trust me, you really, REALLY don't want to go there. Ever. Nasty piece of work, and I have on good authority, about as interactive as a bag of spuds in the sack.

I've always gotten the impression that LARPing is much more accepted by British nerds than American ones. Although, I'd count American Civil War re-enactments as LARPing.
And to the British guys: Yeah, in America, a British accent is considered a major turn-on for women. Irish tends to beat out English or Scottish, but any Western European accent will have women throwing themselves at you.

That's because we do it with style.
See that armour up there? The silver and bronze stuff, and the black heavy spiky stuff? Made by us. By hand.

In the system I play, there are two main combat rules....
1) DO NOT THRUST WITH YOUR WEAPON. Carbon Fibre cores can, will and indeed have impaled people before.
2) DO NOT attempt to swat arrows from the air. It's not particularly realistic, and the nock can, will and has taken someones eye out.
Other than that, pretty much anything is fair game. Weapons checks before a fight by those sanctioned, and off you go. I'm a daemon with a spear. 7' Spear, 6'3" bloke...
See, LARPing kicks arse! Come to the UK and join in.

Legs are quite easy to hit, as they don't tend to be well defended, barring a tower shield. And if it's a life and death situation, you go for whats accessible.
Or get 5 of your mates and jump them when they stagger out the Tavern.

In that case i can see how wacking someone over the head with a carbon fiber club legally, could be quite therapeutic. Especially if his name is Monty, Nigel or Ian.
