There are many good SM miniatures out there. My favourite would have to be my avatar for Deathwatch. No it's not the best looking mini out there, and my painting is not even close to being "pro". But it's my favorite because of the kit-bashing, and the fact that it's supposed to represent myself on the tabletop.

200% agreed in fact it's my fave model period

Pedro comes in 2nd place for me

And another - so we are now 300%. Purely iconic 40k model right here.

But if we're looking at stock mini's it is by far this. The Chaplain Termie wins this thread!

MrGiggles is my hero, for putting a great picture of my favorite Space Marine model right there, as the first reply to this thread. That Terminator Chaplain model? That is Warhammer 40k, right there.

600% now right? The termi chaplain is an awesome model and definitely my favorite marine if not mini overall. Other top contenders for me are the termi libby, Gabriel Seth, and Pedro.

Going to be yet another voter for the Terminator Chaplain. I had that model pegged out before I even opened the forum up and I'm glad to see so many people agree with me. Close runners up were the Emperors champion (Newer one with curled fist) and gotta have some love for the new Lemartes sculpt.

I love the Sanguinary Guard. Those models alone convinced me to start BA as an army.

other than that the Emperor's champion and that terminator chaplain are both quite nice.

Hmm... thinking back over all the years and all the Marines (and aside from Mr. Termy Chaplain above). Well I've always loved this mini:

I personally prefer the Fists variation of that guy:

He could use a bit of a paintjob upgrade though; had him for quite some time.
