There will be a more successful black crusade that will bypass Cadia instead of taking on a fully defended fortress system. It will plough on through Imperial space, attacking planets on the way, causing millions of casualties. Forces will be drawn from all segments of the Imperium. The undefended Eastern Fringe will be conquerored by the Tau during their phase expansions. The Tau empire will grow rapidly. They begin a series of attacks using the Space Marines on new Tau planets, sending the Tau into a state of disorder, whilst a crusade is organised.before the Tau can organise a resistance, the Imperial crusade tears a hole through the Tau Empire.

I know there are some plot..um...holes, but its more of a 'hope the Tau will go out like this'. I am not too familiar with some Tau fluff. Can you say how you think a race will fall, then criticize the story. Thanks

I would like that to happen to... and once it did during the Damocles Gulf Crusade this was when the tau took its first bite into Imperial space. After how well they fought Calgar proboly wont make that mistake again... Also the Dark crusades are coming from the north the tau threat (if it can be called one) is coming from the south east, different directions if you see what i mean...

I just thought of something so random ok so....
There will be a massive battle and then before it starts everyone declares they are deepstriking and they all die sue to deepstriking fail.

The 'Creep' race will finally emerge and all the players will get fed up and quit. The 'creep' will assimilate and utilize all the viable and worthwhile contributions of all races they encounter in one giant army of spammed venerable teleporting land raiders filled with 30 hypnotized ork boyz each and supported by long fangs, all with IG orders and self-spawning genestealers hatching constantly from the barrels of their rail cannon... all races will crumble before the creep, and all races that escape will suddenly find themselves in an aternate universe where they resemble chess pieces.

I think everybody will find common ground, and make peace with each other. With the lasting peace founded, the warhammer 40k powers will form a galactic federation of planets, and usher in a new golden age of technology and prosperity. Anti-climax would be awesome.

Nah, I think the gribblies will finally arrive on terra, all the imperium will fight them, the tau, which were hunting them, will follow, the orks will hear of signs of a 'uge scrap and come, eldar will think "ah, what the hell..." and go/ally with the tau. DE will turn up for the same reason as the orks, Necrons will surface, chaos will arrive in another black crusade backed up by daemons, and it will all end up with the imperium surrounded on all sides, and then all the lost primarchs arrive. (Corax, Vulkan, Gulliman will heal, ect.) The emperor will die and form "the star child", the warp will flood and everything will pour out and make a giant apocalyptic battle outside the golden throne palace in a 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 point battle between the custodes, inquisiton, IG, SM vs. chaos, daemons, and stuff and it will be awesome and then Nottingham will explode.

I for one prefer the end of times battle ending. But anti-climatic ending make me laugh.

I know! There will be a war for the universe and there will be races from different galaxy's and the war will go on till the end of existence and the imperiam and the eldar and the tau will become a massive alliance
and the rest a dark alliance and the races from other galaxy's will join ether one and every planet will become a massive battle ground like armegedon and no won wins...


Thats a amazing story line for long campaign if any won whats to steal it.

But my question is this; Is the Warp everywhere in the universe? Because it seems that the Chaos goods are always busy in the milky way. Tyranids came from devouring other galaxies right? Would this effect those galaxies? The fact that there were other beings for nids to consume but the chaos gods and other gods dont care about them and seem to always be concentrating on the milky way may suggest that all the other galaxies inhabitants are incapable of worship. So would it take an event as massive as reality merging with the warp? Or just a MASSIVE warpsorm consuming the whole of the Milky Way?

The Emperor will die but due to the massive convergences in the Warp he will not be reborn, and the Imperium will lose their figurehead. Without his psychic power the Imperium will return to the Solar System and try and hold out. Massive orbital defence platforms will be built, and the entirety of the system will become a fortress to hold out the rest of the Galaxy.

The Orks will continue to fight for the sake of fighting. Tyranids will turn most of their efforts on them and they will arrive at a stalemate, neither side giving in, neither side wanting to.

The Dark Eldar will die out slowly from the war raging around them, their sordid ways will prevent them from making potentially life-saving alliances, and they will perish.

The Tau will do as they have done, slowly expanding their Empire for the Greater Good, fighting when necessary but trying to exist peacefully if they can.

The Eldar will cannibalise themselves in an effort to survive, and encase themselves in wraithguards, wraithlords and other such machinery. The Craftworlds will unite and stay together, picking up exodite world inhabitants and converting them. Ynnead will rise and defeat Slaanesh in battle, and the Eldar will be reborn with new strength and new wisdom, learning from their mistakes. The Craftworlds will turn to destroy Chaos.

The remaining Chaos Gods will not unite, and instead their need for Chaos will be their undoing, as they randomly attack the galaxy they will be slowly destroyed by various other threats, until Ynnead and the Eldar attempt to destroy them. This is too large a task, and the Eldar will be reduced back to shadows once more.

The Necrons will rise. The Outsider shall stallk this galaxy once more, the Void Dragon will breach the Imperium from within. Without the Void Dragon's technology, the Imperium don't stand a chance. Their defences will be overcome with ease and they will be enslaved. The Nightbringer and the Deceiver shall join the other two, and they will enslave the universe and achieve The Great Work: Realspace. They will mark the slaves of the galaxy with the Void Dragon's machinery and blank the Warp from the galaxy. Once they have asserted complete dominance, the Deceiver will take an armada of Battlefleets and they shall cross over to the next Galaxy in the search for more C'Tan.

The Tyranids will eventually overcome the Orks, their sheer ferocity annihilating them. However, with Realspace coming into existance, the connection to the Hive Mind will be lost. Unless the Hive Mind is the Outsider, in which case the Necrons will exterminate them with almost no resistance.

I think chaos ( and grey Knights ) would fall like this.
There is a huge civil war between the devoted legions and CU ( Chaos Undivided ). Grey knights ( Being evil opportunists) would kill all the CSM, only to find horus come from the warp and kill them all. as the last champion of chaos , his fight was a great expence. his soul was sucked back into the warp, gone forever

Anyway, as Imperial fan I would say that Imperium will vanish like it should - fighting. In the end there would be probably one giant battle at Terra with all survivng Space Marines and Imperial Guard with Sisters of Battle standing before Imperial palace and facing endless tides of Mankind enemies...

If Imperium is destined to die - galaxy will remember them by their last standing at Terra.

Why is it called "the eternal war" if they are going to make peace in the end?

My scenario figuring the end of other races...

One planet, all army's and all of their Heroes.

North - Imperium of Man, with all 12 High Lords of Terra, surviving Primarchs, Space Marine Chapter Masters, Custodes and Grey Knights.

South - Chaos, with all fallen Primarchs, Traitor Legions and grater Daemons.

East - Tau, with all Etherials, Battlesuits, Kroot Shapers and their heroes.

West - Eldar with all their Seers, Farseers, Phenix Lords and Harlequins.

North West - Dark Eldar wit hall of their Fallen Phoenix Lords, Lord of the Kabal and Archon's.

South West - Orks with all their Warbosses, Nobz and Big Meks.

North East - Necron with all of the C'tan, Monoliths and Necron Lords.

South East - Tyranids with all Hive Tyrants, Swarm Lords and Trygons.

They will all stare at eachelse fo are several minutes - and then they all charge in the same time. And in the last second before all of them start smashing each-other - the universe implodes by sheer epicness of that event

The emperor will after 10,000 yeasr of thinking will finally work ou how to dial the 9th chevron on that big stone circle i the room adjacent to the golden throne through which he and a select few will escpae as the galaxy burns
