Manchu: Khadrovia may sound similar but they have Khador, there is a difference. and Khadrovian Konfederacy is using WH40k tech, not steampunk/DnD mixture.

actually, engineers are a troop choice and cost £20 for 5, being the equivalent of BS3 carapace-armoured shotgunners for the points cost of 4 scouts (ish), and HQ? General-commissars are £10. You can buy 10 engineers and a general-commissar, then but leman russes, hellhounds, basilisks, ect.

Khadrovian Data: Senior Sargent Nikolai Alexander Vasily, Veteran Sgt of the "Violators".

Sgt Vasily started by leading his team in a confused Urban battle in which the Khadrovian 1024th Iron Guards fought an invasion force Iron Hands Marines lead by an overzealous Inquisitor. During the battle, Vasily and his squad managed to Melta a Landraider to a wreck with their choice of 3 x melta guns. During this fight that saw victory over the Marines, Vasily and his team managed to defeat the Marines from the Landraider, and Vasily took out the Terminator suited sargeant brother and the Thunder-Hammer was held in a revered spot in their ready room until such time as it could be returned as it was a relic and they did not want it abandoned for one of the local xenos to sully. He was awarded the Honorifica award for the valor in facing down a superior foe in hand to hand combat!

When the Germanians were loyal, and ther misunderstanding happened, the team of Vasily's Violators" would sneak out of manhole covers with a purloined case of the General's select vodka stash, and kill at least one or more Germanian tanks before having to hide in a building.

In fact, the Germanians began trying to prevent these attacks whenever they fought the Khadrovians in urban combat. Unfortunately, this never seemed to prevent Vasily from accomplishing the impossible and killing at least one leman russ before the Germanians withdrew!

One fight, his team took out and or immobilized three Sister Militant in a single action!

Against a chaos force, Vasily and the "violators" got off target and only could attack a strange mega weapon, they of course attacked it and destroyed it, leaving only the Sgt and the meltas and vox man left alive.

Vasily and the Violators saw many actions and have rewards and medals on display in whatever ready room
they set up. With his power sword and hellpistol, he now leads the violators to battle, seeking enemy tanks and monsters as they have, in the past killed Nids, a Carnifex included, Eldar vehicles and other enemies of the Imperium including Tau Tanks and Broadsides most recently.

Vasily has a real knack for being both aggressive, and for surviving these attacks on such fearsome foes. He has passed up promotions past Senior Veteran Sargeant. preferring to lead just his small, tight-knit group of hardened veterans along side him.

Had he not passed these promotions up, he likely would be a major or colonel by now, on his way to Generalship, Either he will get killed one day or allow himself to move up in ranks to lead more men to glorious victory as a Lieutenant or even company commander!

hmmmm tasty read^^, a thunderhammer in your readyroom to hang on a wall is a nice thing to have^^...

this vasily sounds like he deserves some one rules...not of a single character but a nice set of rules for a special character within squads...

Yeppers!^^ Important relic.

With the codex change, I lost the Honorifica Imperialis, but I can use Sgt Bastonne rules(60pts) as a replacement instead. Makes nice LD and attacks, carapced, Hellpistol and powersword is nice, plus he does have command ability like a cross between Company commander and platoon commander. Plus the ability to rally no matter how bad it gets!

That and he and the boys did kill SW scouts and the Broadsides last Tourney!^^

something of a case of selective view^^ making best decisions and dice throws for these few minis...now channel that energy and shovel it out for all your models of the army when playing against sifi vamps...

My fave member of the A-team is Murdoch.
Vasily sounds alot like my scout sergeant. CCW/BP/meltabomb-armed rambo. He can kill anything, anyhow, anywhere- providing his squad has been killed.

with laptops and Xbox, I literally spend 1/2 hours of my spare time watching TV, 90% of which are films, 10% are comedy shows.

More information, hopefully it won't clash too much, it is slightly older.

Looking at the Khadrovian forces, one will note several things, a very large selection of vehicles, weapon patterns, and uniform/armor patterns. This is due to the absorption of each member world's munitorium offices, each making sure that their procurements are shipped out, hence while all uniforms share the gray/gray cammo, they are not all cut the same, this is also why the plasteel armor also seems to clash. It comes in O.D. Green with or without camo patterns, or Black with Gray patterns on it for stormtroopers.
Arkelietska sends it's troopers out with the standard uniforms, but their armor is a very dark gray. Caskrainea, a very temperate world, prefers greens and browns for their camo, making them stand out out more from the rest. Krueger seems to be of a mixed mind regarding color patterns.


The ancient and venerable Phaeton Pattern seems to predominant amongst the Khadrovian armor, yet their tanks seem rather well equipped.They do seem to have a couple of odd variants of Leman Russ, and these are all as modern as can bein these times. Several changes of design can also be noted in Chimera, Basilisks, Malcador, Valdor, and super-heavy transports and warmachines.


Oddly, while most worlds no longer employ "Thudd-Guns", the Khadrovians apparently employ them as front-line weapons. Heavy mortars, mortars, grenade launchers are all heavily salted in through out their military.


This collective pooling of Munitoriums, factoriums, forges and supplies allows for the Konfederation to be very well equipped at all times.


One especially noticeable oddity of Khadrovian uniforms to be noted are the Tau-like helmets and shoulder pads, at first, this is from a old trade agreement between the Khadrovian Politburo and the xenos Tau. This did not sit well with all, especially when they were sent in support of the xenos in some campaigns. Once the old Politburo were forcibly removed from power(shot!) These same units were able to use the uniforms to keep the Tau off guard and managed to foil these campaigns, now those worlds are Kofederacy worlds. Now, the Tau-style armor is regarded as a "trophy" and reminder that they were almost subjugated to alien agendas. Though there is severely restricted trade with the Tau today, it is not the same relationship the Tau once enjoyed.
Due to incursions and raids , the Konfederacy is alert for Eldar, Ork, Tyranid, and others.


The Konfederation when it finds n isolated system of fellow humans, sends in agents from S.C.H.M.E.R.T.Z. to see their tech level, social structure, levels of mutant and psyker taint. They then will offer their newfound friends a chance to join willingly, or, decide to launch an actual invasion "For their own good."

Worlds that stubbornly refuse the offer will also see themselves crushed, or after a lengthy war, unable to to last as long as the far better supplied Khadrovians. Morale is often undermined when they see regiments made up from a dozen different worlds. The Konfederacy has slowed to consolidate it's expansion throughout the "Pearl Strand"sector(sub-sector). This is in part also due to needing to avoid tussles with forces loyal to the Emperor, that are also well equipped and stubborn enemies as they do not wish to be fighting too many fronts.


The Khadrovian Konfederacy may have to set up more defenses as the Tau, especially the "recently" rebuked Sept Kal' Dath, are also encroaching. Also, recent raids by an od race of reptilian chaos worshippers, calling themselves the Kraal'q Empire, Waaagh! Magnotz! of the Orks as well as other ork raiders, Eldar and Dark Eldar. Tyranids are also another concern as the splinter fleets are hard to locate and one never knows when those will arrive. The Imperium, as misunderstandings can and do happen(Expansionistic governors). They do have an ally as they do supply applicants to the Dragons Errant Space Marine chapter fleets.


The Khadrovian Konfederacy has found that the "Pearl Strand" sector is full of competition, and this drives their search for advantage as they feel themselves the proper instrument of the Emperor's Will here. Considering their advantages of being close to their supplies, and the present pre-occupation of the Imperium elsewhere, the local governors and the Khadrovians could well fill the power vacuum in the region. This would still make the area Human, not Xenos as it should be.

i wondered how they fare all alone in a vast sector of the universe without the occaisional SM backup. well and then you bring them on^^. good part right there.
