with those firewarrior open helmets they do look a bit like simean from that newer version of planet of the apes fighters...
the shoulderpads are really nice...
how on earth were you able to drill out a grenadelauncher??? that must be a real steady pair of hands on your body be...

Yeah, they do look a little like Planet of the Apes (new version) don't they?
True, the person who made them for me(alas, my sculpt skills are not that good) made sure the Aquila and scrolls were there for religious purposes.
Plastic GL's drill bit and then widened with twists of the exacto knife!

Further back, when making such adjustments on 1/35 scale tanks, if I slipped, well, clean the cut, and seal with crazy glue. Shrike should like these pics though as well.
I have more to post, but don't wish to make him lose place or track. I will also post the others as they come about, and such.

LOL! Once done with the WGF great coats, I will finish the Khadrovian troops first, the Frigians, the Caskraineans, the Kruegerians, etc. Tanks will be also done alongside them as these can be painted quickly compared to the troops with the small scale details!

Shrike, over half the Vostroyan minis I used for the Frigians have big mustaches! some are even "handle-bar" style.
