Based on number of times I've watched it, i'd have to go with:
The Matrix. Hands down.
A close 2nd would be District 9, although I have to admit sometimes I just pop it in and then skip chapters till i get to the end where he pilots the alien Power Armour.
That 30-odd minutes of sessy, head-popping mecha action is better than both Transformers movies slammed together.

In that foulest of ages, this ship had hung in the skies above Holy Terra as the world's atmosphere burned. Its name was Ashallius S'Veyval, in a dead language, from a dead world. In Imperial Gothic, it translated loosely as Echo Of Damnation.
Thank Heaven! The crisis --The danger, is past, and the lingering illness is over at last --, and the fever called "Living" is conquered at last.
District 9 is a great film but i just can't bring myself to say it is among my favourite Scifi movies as it would be ignoring some classics. Funnily enough distrct 9 to me is very similar to robocop; the grim corporate humour and the cartoonsh Hyper-violence are very Reminiscent of Verhoeven's masterwork.

I am both selfish and chaotic. I value self-gratification and control; I want to have things my way, preferably now. At best, I'm entertaining and surprising; at worst, I'm hedonistic and violent.

...I really love this movie, and to this day the line " Your Mickey Mouse is a big stupid dope..."..cracks me up.
Yeah, some great dialogue and character interaction to be sure...
Definetly, there are some really fantastic moments between "Jerry" and Darwich...it's one of those films that I always enjoy watching...no matter how many times I've seen it.

Yes! That is a great one. I actually started John Carpenter's Apocalypse Trilogy last night. I watched The Thing first and plan on watching Prince of Darkness today followed by In The Mouth of Madness.
I went into JB Hi-Fi today and they said this movie will not be released on DVD in AUS until next month... even though it is released in 2007... WTF?!
Also, apparently, Logan's Run is only available on BluRay, which means I need to wait til I buy a new PS3.
and... Ice Pirates is a Special order title... meaning Im looking at $60 if I wanna watch it once.
