Well, due to my profession it would be unprofessional to mention that’s part, BUT, park of my Guard Armies is a Chem dog Group, I love there Fluff.

Since they are purely drop troops, and always function with valkyries, I guess they have their own pilots. At least for their transport vehicles. Otherwise, it would be too complicated to constantly assign navy aircrafts to each elysian regiment.

Yep, I did a bit of research, and the Elysian regiments all have access to their own valkyries and vultures. So I'd definitely join the Elysians and be a valkyrie pilot. I'd be able to do the "Blackhawk Down" scenes against orks! Yay!

Commisar Holt was a character in the old Epic 40000 computer game, Final Liberation (Which had awesome live-action cutscenes!)

He was a complete badass and was acted very well by an uncredited actor... shame!

Check out the cutscenes, they're on easy to find on youtube (you got different ones depending on what you won/lost/did in the single player campaign, where you were charged with defending an imperial planet from an ork invasion).

I would probably be a conscript in some insiginificant regiment surrounded by 49 other conscripts sent to tarpit a squad of something nasty and then later be in a penal legion after I urinate on myself and run away covered in the splattered blood of my unfortunate comrades.

Some reserve regiment on garisson duty at some emperor forsaken agri world. I would leave all the cool heroic stuff ( soiling yourself because you face a Tyranid, soiling yourself because you face a Necron, soiling yourself because you face a Chaos Marine... ) for others to do.

Vostroyan Firstborn, because they have a rather low casualty rate.
