I would join Cadian 412, there is just not many man like General Sturnn. And he do not send his man into slaughter ( like some other Imperial commanders... )

Elysians are so well-trained that I imagine they don't throw lives away...

Plus, air support is pretty nice.

Either elysians or catachan. They both seem to be regiments that don't throw lives away like cadians, and like above I like the idea of air support, instead of walking everywhere, and having to small arms fire a tank to death. Catachans on the other hand kill 'nids with their bear hands.

I have to say Elysians, just something about the sheer coolness of drab grey drop troops rappelling out of a gunship to cook toast with their guns...just awesome!

I'd sign up with the elysians. I would try to become a Vulture or Valkyrie pilot. Failing that, piloting an armored sentinel should be fine.

Vostroyan. They look cool, they sound cool theme and fluff wise, they have cool hand made tech, they drink Rhazvod, they have a name that rolls of the tongue nicely, they have cool nicknames like "The White Boar", they've got better connections to the AdMech, theye're stubborn.

They're me in a nutshell

I like the sound of the Vitrians from the gaunts ghosts book, something about their philosophical way of war.

tanith first and only, I prefer being able to hide and shot the heretic more than the thought of haaving a shiny armor that a las-gun on high power can go trhought anyway.

And I would be able to meet Larkin, MkVenner, Mkoll, Gaunt (), Soric, man I forogt the name of the miner that loses his memory, Varl, Hark, Caffran.

Plus, Gaunt is one of the fairest (and not an *** which is rare for a IG commander), so putting my life on the line for him would not be a problem. I would so shoot Cuu on the first occasion thought.

And OP an Elysian regiment...
Sounds like fun jumping out of a dropship and trusting in unreliable technology to keep me alive.

Not sure either.

Since they are purely drop troops, and always function with valkyries, I guess they have their own pilots. At least for their transport vehicles. Otherwise, it would be too complicated to constantly assign navy aircrafts to each elysian regiment.

So, what army are they representing?
I don't know anyone using paratroops in mass proportion except Alies, Axis and maybe French in Vietnam...
I would say French because of FAMAS, but not entirely sure....

For those of you wanting to jump aboard the Elysian regiments here is a bit of info from all the IA books about them

Harakoni Warhawks(Basically Elysians) - for many of the same reasons others had said Elysians; but I get Carapace armor, and am likely to have a plasmagun(Yay, suicide) or be part of a HB Crew.

That or a member of the Narmenian Armored; but mostly because I am an old Tread-head.
