This is GW's chance to create a core of really serious Inquisitors, backed by some amazing Sisters units, whilst injecting a bit of humor into the Imperium by creating a host of simply fantastical and crazy models.

If Matt Ward writes this, I swear to god, No matter the cost, I will fly the entirety of Dakka over there, supply us all with a hammer, and make sure he doesn't pick up a pen again.

I would fully approve of them doing this once every 3 months until all the codexes are finished. We can call it the 'Kanluwen- Just Shut up Already' strategy. One codex every 3 months with releases as they finish them for new minis on any army they feel like. It would be CHAOS! Awesome chaos though.

At the very least, it's a good idea if they're having issues with the full-scale production of the models. It shows that they haven't completely abandoned the product, and they can get rid of the excess stock too

Uriah is the missionary. Confessor Kyrinov is the Battle Pope.

LOVE both of those models and I hope we get them back.
Right now Uriah is a Platoon Commander and Kyrinov is my Company Commander.

Either one will do as long as they strategy is implemented. I'm pretty sure that you get to choose, since it is your name.

It would be kind of brilliant, in its own way. I think they save up codex releases for when they hit a critical mass of models and such and then release them all at once. This way, they can get people buying new armies every 3 months, not just every 6-12.

For some reason I can't find a pic of all my other priests, confessors, redemptionsist and zealots. I have close to 80 heavily converted such figs that i used to use for zealot mobs using the Chapter Approved article for them.

i was gonna do a themed IG force ("Martyr Brethren") at some point, but i am keeping my fingers crossed that a new SOB codex will provide a more tempting option...

That's what I've always thought of it as, but I think it may just be that they like having something to 'theme' the releases around. It gives them a sense of order and lets them do silly things like they did with the Orcs & Goblin release where the "Black Gobbo took over the website"

Possibly unconnected but there's a quote in this month's WD from Mr Ward (talking about the GK codex):

' ... the inclusion of the Inquisition and other Imperial agents adds variation and brings in a very different flavour with some of the more exotic wargear. This, in turn, will hopefully follow through on some other projects I'm working on'.

Phil Kelly is supposed to be the person who did it, so I'd expect more along the lines of the Dark Eldar/Space Wolves book(which really didn't have too much offensive in the theme of the naming conventions, aside from Canis Wolfborn and his equipment).

But GK's weren't bad for that, so I think sisters will avoid that convention.

Sounds a lot like Protectorate of Menoth. Wouldn't those be some conversions!
