Aha, so back to what everyone else in the thread has been saying.
Your opinion is that it is a fake.

And you shouldn't even have that. Everyone knows it's an Arbites creation, you dirty thieves!
But seriously. Of course Sisters don't have too many things exclusively for themselves.
Because they had access to the entirety of the arsenal from Imperial Armour Volume Two, specifically the Inquisitorial side. They also have the option to buy Aquila Landers(Imperial Armour 3: Cannoness and bodyguard can buy one, as they're noted as 'Imperial Characters') which Space Marines are explicitly prohibited from obtaining.
But yes. They, along with every single other Space Marine army have access to the Damocles Rhino through IA2. Would be nice to be able to actually obtain Orbital Bombardments for my DA without having to get someone to let me to use FW rules though.

Which would make it an Inquisitorial army, not a Sisters army, so that kinda defeats the point. Space Marines can also have Inquisitors, so really Dark Angels could also have them.

Hey.
You guys know that that "Leaked" codex is from the second edition codex, don't you? Thats a bunch of B.S. if ive ever saw it.
Blame it on P.T.Barnum I guess, but go look at your old school stuff, you'll see what I'm talking about. Jackass didn't even cut and paste it properly, they just spouted off a bunch of garbage.
Once again, Leaked in this case means, someone posted a couple of one off shots from the old codex and spouted it off as gosple.
Burn the heratic, Purge the unclean.

2nd edition profiles had a Movement stat. And the 2nd edition Sisters book didn't include Arbites or Redemptionists.

No self-respecting Dark Angels player would ever field Inquisitors alongside their forces! How dare you insult me so!
But no. My point was that if you really want to compare notes, there's only one "Dark Angels only" piece--the Mortis Dreadnought--in the entirety of IA2.
Guess which army doesn't get to field it without IA2?
Now, take a wild guess which army has it as a standard Codex option...
The answer might surprise you!
Meh?
Meh INDEED.

More from a balance point of view. Having Hereticus units in both the GK and SoB codexes means that if power creep happens, we might experience the Storm Shield effect again. Plus it also means more room for Ecclesiarchal units, which I've always liked more than Hereticus.

The second part is a well-established fear of all sorts of folks that generally isn't well-founded, but whatever. The first part, I completely don't understand though... Try that sentence again but different?

Okay, imagine if Grey Knights don't get updated for another three editions, but Sisters get updated next edition, and the inquisitorial units in the Sisters book are have cheaper, better equipment more suited to the new editions.
For example, the difference between the old storm shield and the new one.

Yeah, no. Unless you're looking at completely different pdf shots, those weren't cobbled together from the Sisters 2nd ed dex. And how is having a Hereticus inquisitor in there going to cause that problem? We will have the same problem no matter what independent of what units are in the new book.
I know what codex creep and wargear mismatch are, I just don't understand the contention that having more units in your book are going to make that worse.

Skarboy, much love. You know what though? We can keep the randomness if I get one launcher under each wing.
And people hate Vendettas?
I would get thrown out bodily of a tournament with a 3xExorcist and 3xExodetta army. 6-36 S8 AP1 shots a turn? Don't mind if I do.

Because the units don't fit the theme, are unnecessary, and are already in a different codex.

Your opinion on the Hereticus in your idea of a SoB codex are well and voluminously documented, M, but were not what I was looking for when I asked a specific question of Mecha.
Having Hereticus units in both the GK and SoB codexes means that if power creep happens, we might experience the Storm Shield effect again.
As I indicated the first time, I wanted to know what Mecha meant by the above sentence which does not appear to make sense to me as it contains things that don't really have an impact on each other.
For example, priests appear in C: WH and C: IG. Did having Hereticus in C: WH make the problem of 2 different statlines for Priests? Will that problem still exist when the new SOB book gets priests and IG still have them whether there are hereticus in there or not?

Does anyone else think they should go back to chapter approved and release updates for each army like back in the day? Cure the arguements about certain things forever, update points cost for the current editions, and then the release of new units and updates from the book that are GW approved? More people would buy these books, than a select audience IMO. I bought the book, but never made any of the armies. The "cursed" marines, the Kroot Mercenaries, Feral Orks, they were all so cool and could give them all these crazy things.....the moded armies are all gone now
