Dunno, that would just lead to troops choices being basically just TLHF immolator plus double melta sisters.... you know, a port of the old (And lame) lasplas plus razorback of previous Marine editions.

Sisters need reason to take larger troop squads, not smaller...

Again, this codex is probably fake, but...

Sisters need reasons to do a variety of things. I suspect that when the real book comes out Sisters will be 1 every 5 for special weapons (like GK), in which case 20 sisters with 4 Specials will be pretty awesome.

But, flexibility in list building will be great. 5 Sisters with meltas in an Immo would be great. Of course, that will make Immo spam even worse since they'd be about 100-150 which gives you 6 immo/melta troops choices for 600-900 points. That would be pretty win though.

Has HMBC ever contributed to a thread in a positive way? I would post on here if i was not afraid of him trolling every thread. does he even play the game??

Actually I was thinking about Multi Melta Imos. Then possiblly flamers (combi flamer for Sis Superior) depending on what the rest of the codex looked like.

I'm talking about the fluff. Wasn't that clear with my "The raping! The raping of the fluff!" comment? Was I being to subtle for you?

I am kind of curious as to why they're calling them "shotcannons" rather than "shotguns". Quick HB, let's fire up the mystery machine!

Shotcannons, IIRC, are in the Dark Heresy rules somewhere.

MM Immos (under current rules) are more expensive and less flexible than HF Immos. Unless things change significantly, it is usually easier to get your melta inside the Immo and keep the cheap/reliable/fire when moving 12 HF on the top.

Ah, well then what's the problem there? No veiled attacks or anything, I'm just not familiar with Arbites fluff. I'd like to keep up the rapport we shared against pretre over the Codex: Grey Knight fluff.

Indeed. Two meltaguns inside an immolator that can fire after moving 12" is better than two flamers inside of an immolator that can fire only after moving 6".

Also, I just can't get over that redemptionist militia thing. It was like it was written by someone who had never actually READ any of the fluff. Even Matt Ward is better than that.

So I'm starting to doubt those pages...

I could really go for an upgrade to immolators so they can carry 10 models. I'm completely pulling that out of nowhere, but that would be great.

Never going to happen, but whatever.

And I'd like to see one of the FW landers made into basically a flying rhino for Sisters to use (thus better justifying how they can get from space to the ground in a combat situation as well as giving the opportunity for a kickass model and awesome conversions)...

But we're getting into wishlisting here...

Yes MM Imos will be more expensive than a TL HF Imo, but I'm assuming Imos will be seeing a drop in price as well.

TL MM with 30"/18" threat range vs TL HF with shy of 20" threat range. Of course you have to get them our of the their cans first. I'd rather not be running my TL HF Imo up to within 8" of the target, getting out of with my sisters and pumping my meltas into the transport inorder to get the yummy candy center out of the transport.

Immolators have a fire point.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
And jumping out a 70 point unit to nuke a transport and the contents isn't too bad.

Especially if they keep martyrdom, because then you get a faith point when they nuke you.

But at the same time, those meltas are better able to actually damage than a single multimelta. while the TLHF is certainly better than two regular flamers, even if the two normal flamers have potential for more wounds they would cause less on average (re-roll to wound and then higher strength and lower AP for the TLHF).

"Shotcannons" seem to be a variant shotgun or more of a "fletchette" launcher, firing casings filled with monofilament wire twisted within, and the only real mentions I recall of them were being used by Imperial Navy shipboard security teams. Just kind of puzzling that they'd change the name of the "Riot Shotgun" to the "Shotcannon", especially when in regards to the Arbites.

Oh please please please.

Valkyrie/Vendetta in the FA slot. I will buy as many as I can take. Stick those 5 girl 2 melta squads in there for scoring and we win!

I've wanted a valk in my sister's army since they came out. I'd have to get someone to paint wings on the wings though. hmm...

I was thinking more angel wings, but that would be cool too. Thanks, Kan.

Also, would be funny if we got Storm Ravens. Then I could have Seraphim flying out of Storm Ravens.

Nah, I'd rather have Valks/Vends.

From a thematic standpoint, I hope the Sisters get Valkyries!

But that would probably make too much sense (combining warrior women references) for GW to do it.

If we're just going off of names, it would make sense for sisters to get an LR crusader and/or redeemer, or a paladin, or a chaplain, or a vindicator, and so on.

GW's naming scheme isn't that varied with Imperial stuff.

please... immolators and repressors ONLY

I dont want our female power armored bolter armed BS 4 - models to be more "akin" to marines...

Grey Knights fell into that trap...Why did GW miss the opportunity to create a "rhino-upgrade-pack" with twin psycannons, heavy incinerators and gatling psilencers instead of recycling the razorback?
Forgeworld even had a beatiful Land Raider conversion http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Warhammer-40000/Daemonhunters_/GREY-KNIGHTS-LAND-RAIDER-REDEEMER-COMPLETE-KIT.html

We have enough Marine codexes already
