First of all contact with zombies is always a bad idea, secondly its not like the zombies are going to worry about coming after you if have one of them as a shield, thirdly the zombie is probably full of holes anyways so its a terrible shield.

I assume it's meant for a Multiplayer thing since it's teams vs teams with zombies thrown in. It's not so much that people won't shoot you(like the purpose of traditional human shields), but it gives you a zombie to take your shots for you.

Just remember folks. Panic. Panic all the time. It's the only way to survive, other than just being mindful, of course-but geez, that's so friggin' boring. - Aegis Grimm

So I take it you haven't ever liked Resident Evil then?

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

I was wondering why a zombie was being used a meat shield myself but I have to agree that it may be for multiplayer (I wonder if you still get points for killing a zombie that is used as a shield). In a regular game, it can could be used as a shield against enemies like hunters or thrown into a horde of zombies to knock them down an clear running space. Just another idea.

Yeah...just replayed the original RE and that game has enough cheese to keep a pizza shop going for months. Nothing makes for a good time like funny lines, awesome live action videos, and zombie killing.

In your base, ignoring your logic.

I haven't seen any RPG's or rockets being thrown from helicopters yet, until those are added in I won't accept this as a Resident Evil game.

Right, Resident Evil has never been well-written. It's always been a cheesy, overdramatic pile of whatever, and the gaming public loved it for it in all its hilarious glory.

Despite the funny stuff like Wesker and his sunglasses at night, S.T.A.R.S. highly undisciplined uniform protocol, or having a character being called "the master of lockpicking" amongst a myriad of so many more examples, nothing came close to this game and it was a big part of a new genre.

The best part of this series was Raccoon City in the second and third game in my opinion and that is why I am hopeful (emphasis on 'hopeful') for this upcoming title.
