You're comparing US to Canadian, not US to new US. Tac squad isn't increasing.

Format on this could have been one hell of a lot easier to read.

Yeah, this format is hugely misleading and makes things look way worse than they actually are.
Way worse for some things (not everything changed). Pretty much just as bad for things that did change.

This more or less prices me out of the "Games Workshop Hobby". I see myself getting very good at resin casting this summer.

Seriously?

Okay, deep breath. GW does occasionally lower prices on certain items during their annual price adjustments. Never in the 20+ years I've been buying GW products has a price hike over so many items been "temporary" for a specified limited time. Things just don't work like that.

Hey, I never said I believed it either, I was just trying to clarify the question that was being asked! lol

‎"The scions of the Dark City would never admit that the unceasing hunger at their core is what drives them to such heights of cruelty. Instead they maintain that they act only upon their own desires. Some have even managed to convince themselves of this. In truth, unless our cousins in the webway feed upon a constant diet of extreme emotion they will slowly wither away, leaving naught but a soulless husk. We of the Craftworlds deny all such urges, and in doing so become less than ourselves. Perhaps it is those that we left to perish who are the lucky ones." - Spiritseer Iyanna Arienal, Meditations.

They increased the price of the Tyranid Battleforce. What a joke.

Congratulations GW, you are putting the writing on the wall yourself.

Yeah, this format is hugely misleading and makes things look way worse than they actually are.
If you look at the nicely laid out spreadsheet that uses Excel at the link in my initial post it's much easier to read than the copy-paste shown farther down in the thread. The copy-paste provides some convenience, but if you really want to examine this thing carefully the Excel sheet is the best way to do so.

O_O

The mordheim rulebook is listed as a price increase... does this mean they're going to be printing it again?

I hope they print Empire in Flames and/or the Annual again!

Also I can't help but wonder, where are the price changes for the metals?!

This thread made me realize that 40k might not even make it through 6th edition.

I might never get a good Codex Chaos.

I should have quit years ago if I knew my Iron Warriors would not end with a bang, but with a whimper.

Yeah. It's all temporary. Just like a tax increase. Those are always temporary too.

I can't believe I just read that.

Like all price rises this one will filter into GWOZ.

So not only can we not buy products from Maelstrom or Wayland any more, but our already high prices are going to go up even higher.

The chances of me making a new army just dropped substantially, though we'll have to see what happens with the Tau. Looking at the latest news from GW, WHFB looks like it's dead in the water, and I'm really unsure that the game of 40k is moving in a positive direction anymore.

For giggles...

Assuming you know a store to order FW enmasse to save on shipping

New LR prices are $66+sales tax = ~$70 in PA

FW Helios complete = $72
FW Promo complete = $76

New Whirlwind prices are $49+sales tax = $52

FW Whirlwind Hyperios complete = $46

* And yes it does NOT make sense we pay VAT when they ship to US...everyone else credits the VAT aganist shipping, FW just adds it on top!

Some if not all Battle Bunkers even though they don't carry Forge World in stock any longer do combine orders together to get customers free shipping even when they have small orders. The new Bowie Battle Bunker will be doing this.

Wut? I'm not sure of that. Don't know if I still have a ForgeWorld Invoice still laying around.

Just checked my previous orders online. They did not charge me VAT or shipping on either order (1 for 251 quid and the other for 256 quid.)

Please double check your invoices.

*also: I'm not an expert on UK law, but I'm pretty sure it's illegal to charge VAT to those outside of the empire. In fact, I know when one of my friends went to Scotland, he got a bunch of stuff from GW there and his VAT was refunded when he came back to the US.
