You get that with anyone though. It's the player, not the army. I know a guy who's had Tau for over a year, still unpainted. Sorry, primered black, actually. He started Space Wolves while at Adepticon, and not a one of those is painted. Painting just isn't the hobby for some people.

bare plastic is still grey, why would you need to paint them
