Rabbits may be cute...but they're also pretty damn tasty.

I always find it comes out too dry. Got any cooking tips?

I'm having Tesco pizza for dinner tonight, in which the meat is probably reconstituted pigeon and inattentive-workers-finger.
Still, three for five quid.

They're good, along with giraffe, antelope, gazelle and camel. Having lived in Egypt and visited South Africa has its perks.

Okay! Barbecue sauce! Better late than never?
You need:
4 ounces of fat, preferably from the meat that you're smoking/bbq-ing. If that's not feasible, you can always melt the fat out of some bacon!
1/3 cup of diced onions
1.5 cups of ketchup (you can use tomato puree if you're too fancy to use bottled ketchup, but ketchup works just fine)
1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup Lemon Juice
1/3 Cup brown Sugar
3 oz of water
Hot Pepper Sauce to taste
1. Heat the fat in a sauce pot over medium heat, then cook the onions until they're transparent about 3 minutes.
2. Add the ketchup, worcestershire sauce and lemon juice. Then you lower the heat and add the brown sugar and water. Simmer that for about 15 minutes.
3. Season with salt, pepper and hot sauce to taste!
Pretty easy, and it turns out really nice. It's a good base, so you can add whatever flavoring elements you want. Good luck!

Awesome, thanks for sharing! Sounds delicious, and yeah, definitely pretty easy.
Bacon or fat from the BBQ sounds pretty easy...any idea if it'd work well with duck fat, or am I just crazy? Tends to have a pretty good flavor though.

Hey man, if you want to spend the cash on Duck Fat you could probably use it. You don't want to get that stuff too hot though, and half the point of using duck fat is because it tastes really nice but you'd be burying all that nice flavor under a bunch of sugar and tabasco sauce.
I probably wouldn't do it.

Good call...I love the flavor, but yeah, that would tend to get buried I guess.
As for shelling out cash for it, not really an issue. I just tend to fastidiously collect it all and save it for later on the rare occasions I decide to get a duck and cook it.

Cool thanks for the recipe, I'll give it a try
tonights dinner is left over steak that I grilled yesterday.. I got the already marinated ones from my super market, it was some kinda orangey looking stuff, but it tasted good. I gotta have left overs for mondays since I work late and never wanna cook.

I wanted to feel special and post.
Last night, and every sunday night: 2 rib SHAPED sandwiches and 2 dr peppers at the FLGS for DW/DH night.
Had really good chicken and potatoes for a sunday dinner before heading out yesterday too. And some veggies I didn't eat.
For tonight, I have no idea what is on the menu. Probably steak, potatoes, and salad.
edit: those crash potatoes look absolutely amazing.
