Hey now. I haven't been to Disney World since I was like... 14? It's not like it's something I think about often especially with Pirates not being the typical Disney movie
Did your parents beat you as a child? How do you not like Disney? Id get it if all youve seen was Phantasia, or however its spelled. Man that was an acid trip on film.
Automatically Appended Next Post: And I guess to add mine into the mix
Badguy Jafar was ok as a man, but when he turned into a Genie, man did he become a total badass
Goodguy Sulley from Monsters Inc. John Goodmen is awesome in my book, and Sulley is just a cool character
Random guy Captain Barbossa. Seriously....that is what a Pirate should aspire to

Surely that would only follow if representatives of the Disney corporation beat him as a child? Anyway, I was shown Phantasia... Fantasia?... several times as a child as two of my grandparents were music teachers, and it's about classical music so YOU WILL ENJOY IT. That being said, the Night on Bare Mountain sequence bred a love for the living dead into me at a young age.
Oh, and probably Iago from Aladdin for my favourite.

I just saw your AANP, KingCracker, and I agree with your choices. I do not know who Gilbert Gottfried is, apart from now knowing he voiced Iago. Am I lucky in this?

Fantasia is an abomination, I've seen it once and hated it. Apart from the Mickey Mouse and the boomsticks bit.
I like Toy Story, Wall-e and most of the stuff from Pixar. But that's Pixar, and yeah, they are owned by Disney now. But actual *Disney* cartoons? Beauty and the Beast, Snow White, etc. Ugh. Don't like the characters, certainly don't like the singing. Largely revolted by them. Don't like Disney stores, they make me wretch. And I'd rather spend a week being waterboarded at Guantanamo than go to Disneyland.

Ooooh, difficult one for me, so many to pick from... Barbosa, Frollo, Scar, Mother Gothel... I do love Disney villains. But in the end there can only be one...
He makes me laugh every time and has such a wonderful 'evil' turn at the end.

You poor, simple fools. Thinking you could defeat me. Me: The Mistress of All Evil!

Well, here's your precious princess!
Sleeping beauty is not all that good, I mean, it's 1959 and it shows, but Damn, Maleficent is a good villain.
Robin Williams just doesn't do it for me. Maybe it's because I'm a stand-up comedy buff, but once you hear his schtick enough times it's just repetitive and lame. YMMV.

Hard to get sick of them...
But I know that it's a total matter of opinion, and I don't deny his talent or claim that he doesn't deserve his success. It's just not my thing. I will say that when he plays a more serious role in a movie, though, he's pretty awesome.
