Rightyo, I have given him a lower jaw made from spare devastator backpacks of all things... seems to work all right though, looks better than just a gap I reckon!
Also, I'm not sure if I will be able to update this blog as often as I like as I have to start practising my 3d modelling for video games before next semester, so I wouldn't have as much time for Warhammer modelling.
So I was thinking...
I could attempt to 3d model Bjorn here and post progress on that (perhaps even get him into the unreal 3 engine?) , would that be something you'd be interested in seeing? would it be against the rules of P&M Blogs?

The new jaw looks great! Hey, could you have a look at my P&M blog? Not right now as I need to update it, but I really need some attention.

Well, it's been some time and I have decided to make this a general blog rather than just about the Dreadwolf.
Whirlwind turret:
This is my Whirlwind, because I'm cheap I used leftover bits from the Dreadwolf to make this from my Razorback. The parts used are the 2 kinds of sentinel missiles (largest side ones and the pod on top), The two missiles in the center are from an Ironclad and the housing around it is a random metal bit from ages ago, possibly from a land raider, I honestly haven't a clue though as i have about 6 more and can't figure out where they might be used.
That one vehicle serves as a Rhino, Razorback and Whirlwind.
I've also taken the plunge into Necrons, I want to do this new army justice with some decent paint jobs and conversions. I have a selection of colour schemes here:
I want glowy necrons I think I know which I want, but I'm curious what DakkaDakka thinks? I just got an airbrush and have started practising with it, I'm going to use it as often as I can.
I've also seen a ton of threads about necron colour schemes so if these are useful to others than all the better. Automatically Appended Next Post: Oh one more thing, is there any tips for improving my photography? It's OK standard so far but I'd like it to be better.

I was drawn in my the surreal Magnus's SPACE WOLVES and got sucked in by your awesome mechowolf! It looks awesome, really good job!
as for your necrons, I really like the purple, think it looks suitably sinister, but that's just my opinion, go with what you fancy, its your army after all!

Surreal Magnus's SPACE WOLVES? Is it meant to be Wolves instead of wolfs? I changed it anyway. I'm glad you like the Dreadwolf, he really is the centerpiece of my army and I keep him on display
Purple is one of my favourite colours but I think the black and yellow is more striking, it would probably "glow" better too so I expanded on it a bit:
Metals are Vallejo model air metallic Gun and Black 1:1 ratio, Yellow is white undercoat then Vallejo model air yellow (so vivid) and the body is black with white edge highlights (going to experiment with yellow on larger models and then gloss varnish them)
I hope to make the black areas look like armour of sorts.

Oh god no I wasn't having a go about grammar! Not at all! It just was funny because the thousand sons and the space wolves hated each other so much, thought it was an ironic name!
The yellow one looks good too! As I say, whatever your favourite is! Look forward to seeing more.

Well I haven't had any time to work on the Necrons so for so long now I'm putting them to one side for another time, I've got an urge to make my own Marine chapter too and really stretch my creativity but that will go in a new thread. I'm thinking defensive making use of shields from forgeworld and shotguns modified from bolters ) Anyway more minis, any time I had to model these last few months has been to help my partner, these are his Grey Knights: Custom Draigo clad in Not-So-Tactical Dreadnought Armour inspired by someone else's interpretation of him, cant remember the website though, Back of him: Another inspired piece, this time a librarian, his staff is meant to look like it's glowing with psychic charge: And his back: The 2 HQs were built by me as well as the auto cannon arms for the dreadnought (complete with psybolt glow!). This was also my first attempt at using an airbrush for the power swords and they came out wonderfully. Everything else was done by my partner, I'm very proud of how far he has come since I introduced him to the hobby, now he has 3 armies (orks, chaos, grey knights) all more complete and better quality than mine, he has outdone me.
