Vik, yes I sleep, please remember these are all projects that I did some time ago, I'm not building all this crap in real-time or anything lol

Problem is that when I took 90% of my WIP shots, with my old blackberry I would just upload them to facebook, well facebook sucks for this type of stuff, so I have these photos all over the damn place, different pcs, harddrives etc. I just found these two WIPs on my work pc..I have no idea why, but here they are
I should really get these files organized one day, but posting to dakka helps me at least put them in a somewhat coherent order.

Thanks, but it's more of an exercise in repetitiveness than skill I am afraid. And I was motivated to actually play on it, so I did put in some late nights on the table leading up to that point.

what are those lines on the table for? position marks for the buildings to be placed upon or are they streets? looks freaking huge by the way...
as for the data problem... ouch... god i only uploaded our lst vacation pics on my wifes laptop as we had it with us on the holidays... but boy did that too cause problems... i am a control freak... not having everything under my belt.. (picture wise) would sent me into madness...^^
The table is 6x4', the lines are just supposed to be cracks in poured rockcrete or whatever pavement is in the 41st millenium. Both of the buildings are based on 1x1' suare bases.

wow very inspiring table. I had not heard of pegasus before this thread guess Ill have to check them out. I have always been a big fan of the buttressed look on your backburner cathedral.
If words hurt your feelings, your really gonna be pissed when the bullets start flying
Thanks hefty, The Pegasus panels are great, I like the butresses too, but I only have a few of them, so I want to make sure I don't waste them.

Super work here dsteingass, The last Cathedral is brilliant, also liking the the blue of the landing pad .. man where do you find the space to build this stuff ?
Did you draw on the lines on the concrete, as per GW's making wargames scenery book, or did you use thick card or plasticard? I am thinking of doing the latter for my eventual city board as you'd get proper shading in it, but it might just be a waste of time/effort...
Very tasty though - love the Cathedral but as you say, too big to play with. Would be cool as part of a Necromunda table though...
The concrete cracks are just black marker, then washed over with devlan mud and drybrushed across the cracks.

"Your mumblings are awakening the sleeping Dragon, be wary when meddling the affairs of Dragons, for thou art tasty and go good with either ketchup or chocolate. "
Dragons fear nothing, if it acts up, we breath magic fire that turns them into marshmallow peeps. We leaguers only cry rivets!
Looks like I'm going to have to check your profile and go through the rest of your threads, because you are amazing. I have a ton of cool scenery that I have built over the years, but I'll say w/o hesitation that where you *are* is where I want to *be* in relation to skill and completeness.
I've seen a lot of really great stuff on Dakka, I spend quite a bit of time surfing the Gallery when I am at work. Your stuff is right up there with some of the best I've seen. Personal opinion is subjective, but for what mine is worth, you have my respect.
Subbed to another one.

Actually, the backburnered cathedral is based on the Notre Dame Cathedral in shape. But looking at this, I wish I would've built this one with two front towers. Can never have enough of those Shrine of the Aquila sets!

Speaking of the Cathedral....
I found these Halloween village fences and gargoyles at Menards for $2.99 a set of 5, I bought 4 sets. It makes a 15" square. Mind you, the fencing near the blast point will be properly twisted and maimed.
You think it'll work?
@Luna Hound, No, I've never heard of that before, but it looks awesome! Thanks a lot, very much appreciated! My knowlege of Anime is very limited, but I am a huge fan of Steamboy- Epic animation with the gears and pipes!
