Did you play a kid with nurgle chaos daemons in round 2? If so, that was me. You had a very nice looking chaos army sir, although I can't remember your name for the life of me.

No, that wasn't me. I played Lash Chaos at the ETC this year which is why I thought we may have played. I was running Blood Angels last year.

On another note, has anyone heard about the missions for this event? Army lists are due in soon but no sign of a mission pack...

Nope, nothing.

This year has been semi-odd as far as the lead up goes, Conflict is one of those events i look forward to every year (mostly because it was probably my first real GT), but the silence this year has been a bit eerie..

AFAIK, Aaron has had some IRL problems. The event is still going on, things have just been slow getting out. I believe this was originially posted by Tordeck.

Thursday: Paint 5 more warriors and Overlord
Friday: Paint 5 Immortals
Saturday: Paint 10 Immortals
Sunday: Paint 2 Triarch Stalkers
Monday: Paint Command Barge and Ann. Barge

Wednesday: Paint 4 Wraiths and my Wraith Lord
Thursday: Paint display board (already built), try to figure out how to fit everything into cases

It was in an email sent out around the end of november, Jan 2nd was deadline for army lists, if you havent, I'd just email it to Aaron as soon as you can and I'm sure it'll be fine

I think Team Dakka actually probably came close to the bottom...

This was a great time! Playing the same scenarios as last year was a surprise, but thankfully the first/sixth was tweaked to make it better. There was also an improvement on the terrain, with more LOS-blocking, though some of it still shows signs of being designed for 6th/7th-ed WHFB. Forests with only one bare tree make the baby Emperor sad.

Still, great people, great venue, great time as usual. Target, DarkCorsair, good to meet you guys! Thanks for the fun game, DC! And thanks to my other opponents- Troy, Mike, James, Lou, and Eric. 4/6 new opponents and every one a pleasure to play.

Had a great time again this year! Terrain was improved, missions were tweaked/improved and the ones I disliked (bouncing objective at game end) was altered perfectly to balance what it wanted to be, and keep it fair to the players involved.

I also think it speaks to the event that my games were against (in this order):

-Dark Angels
-Grey Knights
-Daemons
-Necrons
-Dark Eldar
-Imperial Guard

Excellent variety, excellent quality of opponents!

I'll be back again next year I'm sure, going for the three-peat, lets get some more guys out to unseat me!

My only two problems with the event were paint judging going on during games, and 6 games as opposed to 5. Otherwise, it was fun!

Had a good time although hopefully the schedule will be a little more forgiving next year. Saturday was like running a marathon and I missed out on my favorite part of GTs; socializing. 6 great opponents and 6 great games.

same 4 good games day 1.... then i had so bad news got 3.5 hours of sleep because of it... and made SEVERAL bad mistakes on game 5....

Game 5 and 6 were still good tho!
