Key for bending resin, heat it up in hot water first. It will soften and would be very easy to bend it.
I've done it to various forge world and fine cast models and it works just fine.

Aye, I've learned that since then. Like I said tho, I'm naturally clumsy, so I have to be extra careful with resin... whereas plastic is kinda idiot proof.

Even if they like it, they're not allowed to, they must hate it. Didn't even go? Hate it. Liked the food? Hate it. Like the music, and danced with a hot bridesmaid? You're not allowed to enjoy that. hate it.
That's what people who hate finecast are like.
Actually, you brought up what i was considering to expand further or not.
If no one ever bring up the flaws and everyone just stays silent and take the miscasts up their bum...
Does anyone honestly believe GW will strive to fix it? After all, why fix something if everyone is ok with it?
Its not in a business's interest to fix something no one have issues with.
Now. I understand there will be haters, which means complaining finecast for the sake of complaining.
But.... its clear as day by now, that there are issues that need to be worked on. Pronto.

There are issues. All but the biggest GW white knight will admit there's problems with finecast, even if they like the product. I will too - I have a Venomthrope I should have returned. I didn't, because as I said earlier, I want to get practice fixing things like wide seams between peices before I tackle my Heirophant. If I didn't want the practice, it would have gone back.
That said, I'm willing to ride out the crap. I'll return anything I get that I don't like (as I said, my Venomthrope has large seams between the carapace bits, which I'm fixing to get practice before tackling my Heirophant, otherwise it would have gone back). I like finecast more than metal for a variety of reasons, so I'm quite happy returning any models that are miscast and having fun with my toys. There's ways around it, especially on plastic kits. The only reason to protest the embargo anymore is if you simply don't want to play GW games anymore, and want to waste time complaining about stuff. Get off my lawn!

Learn what trolling actually is Loki. It's a post made for no other reason than to illicit a reaction, to annoy, to derive enjoyment from getting a rise out of people.
And of course you didn't mention price. I'm mentioning price, because the idea that they've 'stepped up' is absurd. Finecast is nothing but spin to try and get people to think they're getting some sort of amazingly high quality miniature when all it is - all it is - was a simple cost cutting measure in light of the increasing price of tin. Now there's nothing wrong with resin, and it makes perfect sense to redesign your products out of a cheaper material to save on overhead costs - all of that is 100% logical - but it's another to use it as an excuse to jack up the price whilst lying about the quality.

No, forget what i said. Canada have embargo TOO i'll protest alone then xD
Ways around it? its not HBMC's dice bucket is it? the "new Maelstrom" ?

Hm... I wonder what sort of complaining will be had when GW inevitably switches to a material similar to digital paper for its minis instead of more traditional materials.
Will people complain that the computer program that "paints" the minis is too expensive? Too hard to use?
Will people complain that the touch-up stylus has a power cable and/or batteries? Will they complain that the paint tiles are too small or large? Too expensive?
Will people complain that they miss the old days when miniatures were painted using a proper brush and acrylic hobby paints?
Will people complain that the 3d scanner doesn't convert the miniature's image into the program correctly?
Will people complain that the 3d printer they've been printing their minis from for years isn't compatible with the material, and claim discrimination about technology have-nots?
What sort of complaints will we see when physical miniatures become a thing of the past, and games are played in a holo-tank?
Will people complain that they miss when miniatures were a physical object? Will the old geezers like myself remember the days of spending an hour working on a single infantry figure, when the kids these days will have their whole armies ready to go 5 minutes after unboxing the memory storage device?
Will people complain that holo-tanks are too expensive in that size? Will we pine for the old days when we could make a gaming surface with a 20 dollar piece of plywood and a spare green sheet?
Will people complain about their paranoia that the tactile neural controls are planting thoughts in their minds? Will the tactile neural controls actually BE planting thoughts in our minds?
Will people complain that kids these days have it so easy, having grown up on magical technology like holotanks?
Ahh, I hope but to live long enough to see these fevered dreams become a reality.

I think you are missing the point. No one is complaining about material change.
Rather, the claim of how superior it is while not able to deliver the claim.

The issue to me at least is where it is superiour. Detail quality? Debateable, and I can't see anyone but the best painters claiming it's a benefit. Easy of converting, reduction of preparation, ease of construction are all vastly in finecasts favour. It's a real pity GW decided to play up the detail, since there's far more angles with very noticeable benefits. Gw, being GW, had no idea how to market it.

SO many things I could say right now...
On the plus side, we'll have battle reports where you can actually watch the battle in real-time and no one's army will ever be unpainted.

Snide remarks aside it is perfectly fine human behaviour I hate metal for basically the same reasons you like it, hate having weight to models, hate painting them then they chip and i hate the look of metal and how hard it is to see defects and difference between mold lines and details

In my opinion, Finecast is superior by far. No need to pin, cleans up easy, and easy to modify. I do miss the heft that metal models have, but I can overlook that for the good things about Finecast. So he is either allergic to the hydrocarbons in the resin, unlikely cause he would also not like plastics *long evil laugh*, so it must be a curing agent or release agent.

If he's not allergic to FW models, it's not the resin, so it's likely the release agent. Tell him to wear gloves, and wash them in soapy water with a toothbrush. He should really be doing this anyway.
