A little girls show that is apparently designed to be watched by all members of the family.
Now, I'm not so sure, but at some point that definition included something called a ... Fasa. Fadjer? Fallujah? Faster?
And hell, with families I think kids come in more than one flavour, but don't quote me on that.

There are some who walk until their legs fail them and they fall to the ground. I find that respectable.
Then there are those who drag themselves further. I find that admirable.

What does Imperial Guard ( in your avatar ) that MLP doesn't have?
Its just a visual representation, most people are beyond that intolerance xD
Blood and Gore and Intensity and Thrill...
People can watch what they want, I just don't see how MLP would appeal to a grown man.
this man needs some links. its been stated that its not made specifically for little girls. im a teen,so not 'grown' but ive said my reasons. i was against the show, but made a bet with someone here on dakka.now look at me,im defending it. its a good show, once you stop B***ing bout the ponies and the girly colors.

I just post that picture in all mlp threads because its sums up what (I assume to be) a large group of the fans think
Minority, I think.
They exist, not denying that, but they don't speak for the fandom.

Oh, and I did make the same bet klimino made earlier. I watched the pilot episode but couldn't keep with it. I didn't like the unnecessary slapstick, and well, the voices.

Frankly, most of the plots being cranked out nowadays for TV and film are a load of gak.

pinkie is a party pony. its her pet alligators birthday,so she invite her friends over and they celebrate. one, twilight sparkle, says we should do it again soon. so the next day pinkie starts inviting them to an after party.after those she has asked say they are busy, she wants to find out why. so she stalks them.
she finds some slim evidence pointing possibly to not wanting to be around her,so questions spike,a puny dragon. he lies so he can get some food, making pinkie think all her friends hate her. so she goes all insane. she throws a party by herself, with rocks, dust, and flour as the guests, and gets a split personality for each. one of her friends shows up,and asks her to come with her,but she refuses. her friend then drags her to another friends barn, were they throw her a surprise birthday party. realizing she forgot her own birthday, and it was all really so the surprise wouldn't be ruined, she reverts back to her normal self and they party.

and i probably didnt do a good job. half the fun of that episode is her stalking her friends dressed as a hay stack with comedian glasses,a coat, and a spinny hat on.

I guess that's a nice moral. I guess if men want to watch a pony show they can watch a pony show. I know I was kinda pushing stereotypes before by saying men should watch manly things and girls should watch girly things but... Men should watch manly things and girls should watch girly things. inb4 WATS MANLEE AND WATS GURLEE? It's quite hard to distingush between the two, but can men find a show that embraces friendship that doesn't have to do with colorful ponies? EDIT: Grammar Nazi was here

Every show, ever.
Find me a show that rejects social interaction and human relationships.
The ponies are just the delivery package for a payload of non-gender related ideas.

I guess I should stop talking. I'm not hating and I can't lie and say the animation isn't pretty cool but no, just no. It's just not my cup of equestrian tea. EDIT: Then the young man realizes no one gives a feth about his opinion on the internet so his intinal attempts were also futile.
