Cryx crab 'jacks were a little more then a pain to put together and to attach to their base. Just needed a lot of glue and pinning.

That's because you can't see the top of her head clearly. That one piece of hair that you see is coming out from under the "helmet". Anyway compare the figure that you do show with the picture of her in the Merc book and you'll see what I mean about a "divirgence of artistic vision".

She's clearly much nicer looking in the art, no question, but looking at my Cylena mini that's her hair on top of her head. She has a side-part into ponytail hairstyle. Granted, the hair details are very shallow and may disappear with a coat of primer...

It looks like the one I have. It may be that mine just didn't get the imprint into her hair. I must say that yours is painted much better than mine.

I've just started so haven't really found any models I don't like, but the amount of difficult to get too mold lines on the plastics in the starter set is amazing. They must use like 4-5 piece molds. The Khador Warjacks are making me insane with cleaning, re-cleaning, greenstuffing, sanding, etc. I almost feel like it's a sculpt-by-numbers models.

Blighted Nyss from the "first wave" (Archers, Striders and Swordsmen) are abysmal. Really terrible. Ridiculous proportions, horrible, goblinesque faces, goofy expressions and poses. Argh.

It's a damn shame the Swordsmen kick so much arse on the battlefield. I have to figure out something to do with their stupid heads.

Anyone know if a headswap with Dark Elves (say, Corsairs) would work?

I have a pretty limited experience when it comes to Warmachine models, but right now the one that's driving me nuts is a Menoth Castigator. The top of its torso and its head just don't fit onto the body. There's so much metal there that filing it down is proving to be a royal pain, and the gaps are going to need a lot of green stuff before it looks remotely good.

I think I've seen people do some Everblight models with... what were they, Dark Eldar heads? Seemed to work well enough.

I <3 scattergunner models.

Hmm, those pics do make them look OK!

Wow, that really makes a world of difference! At least one of those looks like Dark Eldar Wych heads, I think?

from my experiences:

Deathstalker: really really bad model design it takes the Nyss horse head's to the extreme, only saving grace is that it is simple to assemble

Harbinger: not a bad model but extremely hard to assemble

Forsaken: I really regret buying this model, it has good game stats but the model is so piss poor, ranging from the design to assembly this has to be the worst model I've ever bought. It's not like I blindly bought the model, I saw pictures of it and figured that maybe they weren't giving the model justice, I was dead wrong. So if anyone has any alternate models that can be used in tournaments send me a PM!

Anyone mention the Stalker yet?

Looks cool, but it's a pain to assemble(not as bad as Crabjacks) and they don't stay together. Can't count how many pictures on the PP boards have broken Stalkers.

What you aren't seeing is the invisible hobo she is threatening in front of her while simultaneously shooting the ground in front of the one behind her.

Is she doing the Haters Gonna Hate walk? o.O

Wait wait... No one has mentioned the Skorne Titans yet? I actually like how the models look for the most part, but the amount of green stuff required to fill all the gaps is atrocious.

I'll 3rd or 4th the Black 13th... They're just too small. Makes me sad.

I've decapitated one of them and replaced his goofy head with a dark elf corsair, which doesn't look so bad.
