Hm...... I not sure about this. I'm not too fond of the design, I feel like it needs a little bit more to feel finished. That said, I love the liberties you've taken on this design (predator turret and the tail gunner). It looks much better than the original SR by far.

Well, I love the SR - really unusual. What I like is that you've not forced it into contrived pseudo-aerodynamic; it's believeable as chunky. Also, the chapter master should totally have bigger wings than anyone else

Your SR conversion is a nice change from the rest of the conversions normally seen. Niiiiiice!

I wasn't completely sold til I saw the painted pictures, but those changed my mind. Good job!

I'm still not sure what to do with the Base of the Stormraven. Just sanding and painting sounds a bit dull.
Any ideas what I could put there ?

Debris is always a good choice. Something that works with the bases from those fantastic Vanguard you haven't posted yet

I'm gonna post them before I start painting ;-)

Nit sure about the debris though. What do you guys think about a Space Marine pointing somewhere ?

Thought I give you al little Update.
The Techmarine, the Terminators and the Vanguard where painted in the last few weeks. The Assault Terminators where finished just yesterday.









Next up is something special which I cant show you until I field it against Anung un Rama on the 2nd of March :-)

The TechMarine looks excellent, and I really like the "power" highlights you did on the Lightning Claws and Thunder Hammer.

Just finsihed my Captermaster, kept the Plas Pistol and made the hammer into a relic blade.
All he needs now is a Name...

Apart from the fact that he's suffering from Youngbloods Disease it's a good paintjob.
Still not a big fan of the axehammer though. Looks like a hammer with an axeblade attached to the head, instead of a combination of the two.

Colour scheme is looking good, a really intense dark red. Good job!

I still think it's too dark. The base looks nice though.

I decied to keep two different styles within my Army. Darker tones for the troops and walkers and the old bright red for flyers, tanks and bikes

As with the Stormraven, I did a little conversion on the wings. Think it looks a bit more sleek that way
