They're rather different to regular marines.

Let's not forget that functioning organs aren't necessarily required to rape someone. I'm sure a marine could get plenty of rapin done without his junk.

It's a tricky one, really. I'd put 'love' down as 'stimulation' & 'gratification' myself because of the 'fuzzy' emotional effects it can have on people, driving them on to savour & enjoy those emotions, relishing them.

The one thing that does really annoy me is that people forget that Slaanesh covers perfection as one of it's major areas. Perfection in emotions, stimulation, gratification. Perfection of form & beauty texture. Of smell, sound, touch, taste.

As for the 'rape' of Terra, you don't necessarily have to be using your 'boltgun' to rape someone or thing. Being followers of Slaanesh I'm sure they thought up all manner of ways in which to rape Terra's populace without using their 'lascannons'. Although, as others have pointed out, with Chaos the 'impossible' becomes possible.

Regardless, I always assumed the EC achieved the, do I dare say, orgasmic heights through sadistic murder and torture, rather than stripping off their codpieces and getting down and dirty.

If the emperors children did poon 80% of the human population on terra then im sure that the emperor or the primarchs or the high lords of terror would of ordered a massive purge or exterminatus

seeing they didnt.... guess lexi got its stuff wrong or by raping the people on terra it simply means taking pleasure in torturing them and messing with them

The whole idea of Marines as sterilized or chemically castrated, or impotent is really just Intardweb conjecture gotten out of hand and repeated too often. There's really nothing in the official fluff about how, or why, Marines aren't interested in sex. It could be any of a number of factors, and there's nothing to say that it's not one of those methods. But, realistically, it could just as easily be psychological, part of the indoctrination process. And converting to Chaos can easily render most of that irrelevant. Remember, Chaos Marines lose ATSKNF. Maybe the bonus to losing that part of the psychological indoctrination they lose the part that suppressed their sexual impulses too. Take the good with the bad, you know.

Um, the Emp's Children might have functional equipment (or, you know, tentacles) but could be "shooting blanks"... though I'm pretty sure that the survivors of such atrocities probably offed themselves, or mutated.

They would not order Exterminatus on Terra. The High Lords could, all too easily, purge a few billion souls from it, however.

Or the victims could have been taken as slaves by the legion.

In that time, as the Siege of Terra raged around them, the Emperor's Children are reckoned to have murdered more than forty times their number of unarmed, defenceless people in their efforts to create new stimulants to feed their addiction to pleasure.

I would imagine that anyone who was unfortunate enough to get raped by the Emperor's Children was fortunate enough not to survive the ordeal. Hence solving the problem of tainted survivors.

As far as I'm aware, all space marines in the first GW codices (yes that is the correct plural, not codexes as GW thinks) had genitalia. It was only when immature children started going around saying 'Hahaha if Spehs Mahrens are like 8-9 feet tall how big is their thing?', that GW decided to say that no one has genitalia. Even the orks and there where models of orks with genitalia.

I don't think there's a belief that they lack genitalia, I think the confusion comes down as to whether or not any of it is functional.

Come on, something like standard intercourse, even forced, isn't going to do it for an Emperor's Children. Transplanting a fully grown space marine in power armour into an orifice of a human and testing exactly how far a human being can stretch before being pulled apart? That's a start.
