This is but one of my tables. I have about 4-5 tables worth of terrain for Infinity - and about double that for 40k.
From my desert settlement (Tattooine - for my 501st themed Space Marines) which becomes the desert CITY for Infinity (3x as many buildings) to the spaceport and spacecraft interior tables. Those are still locked in my shed - and I will just be using the industrial/urban stuff for a while.

I'd love to see pictures of everything else you have Chromedog, if you ever get the time to photograph them all.

Some really great stuff here guys, I especially love the Necron themed scenery piece

I've still got to get around to TAKING pics of my other stuff, let alone uploading it to a host. It's in the "to do" pile, don't worry.

The Blood Bowl pitch hasn't photographed very well - it really is superb. It was made and loaned to me by a chap called Rev who lives near-by.

Each half of my gaming table is two hinged closet doors aprox 1'x7' for a 4x7 surface that has been primed white and then sprayed with sandstone textured spray paint.

Here's what it looks like set up for a "Wastelands Meltdown" Post Apoc game: Foam hills, Rock formations are plastic "Playmobile" toys that have been textured and painted, Bushes are craft plants pulled apart and based to a pair of pennies, and the buildings are kitbashes of toy buildings.

Here's some of the same scenery with a couple of cardboard buildings I slapped together setup on a burlap cloth for a smaller fantasy skirmish game

I've got other terrain, buildings and such, but the stuff above gets the most use. I did recently build a fantasy village though it hasn't seen a battle yet as the club has been busy with some post-apoc playtesting.

I don't have a table at my house (cause I live in a dorm room), but my store has built 2 Warmachine tables for Origins. I'll take a picture of the one that is currently being play tested on (probably won't have the terrain on it, but it doesn't really need it).

Looking at ROBB - is it a worthwhile purchase? It's so expensive, but so convenient too!

Eliif, that's some really nice stuff you have there, how'd you get the second, top down, picture? Is it as simple as standing on a chair? It just looks a little CGI is all

I have a dog named Winnie the Pooh.

I also have an almost 1:1 scale 'mini' I painted of The Pooh.

It started as a GA Bulldog statue (heavy concrete) and now hangs out on our front porch.

It's just standing on a chair. I don't recall if I was actually looking through the camera or just holding it high over the table, but the only computer mods were the tags my friend added for an AAR he wrote. Since I took the first pic, I've been doing these overhead shots for almost all my AAR's to give folks a clearer idea of the battlefield arrangement.

As for whether or not to get a ROBB, it's totally up to you. If you need a board that is transportable and/or packable into an extremely small space, then it's actually not a very nice product once you plaster over the skulls, paint and flock it(if necessary). If you prime and seal it properly, it's quite sturdy, and there's more than enough flat areas to spice it up with plenty of loose terrain.

The cons are pretty clear in that it's very expensive, "just like everyone else", the hills are permanent, and you still need space to keep the rest of your terrain. Having played on a ROBB countless times, I prefer my own setup, but YMMV.

Here are the 2 most recent incarnations of tables we've been playing on. We tend to cycle through tables or "styles" of table every few weeks to a month to keep things fresh. So, I suspect we'll have different stuff in play soon:

A shot of my board. The terrain is a WIP still. Buildings need bases, paint, and roofs/floors yet.

The board is awesome! I was lucky enough to have my friends in Minneapolis (Terrain Specialties) build one of theirs for me. The board is MDF board framed by 1 by 2's. They are in 2 by 4 sections and they bolt together. I have 4 sections and can go out to 4 by 8. Works very well on top of a table or 2 "hotel/convention" skinny tables. Also works well ontop of 2 sets of wire heavy duty shef units on casters (some 1 by 6's for bracing the span). These are higher than a table, more like a bar hieght table, for those in the US.

Here it is set up on a folding table.

It's a joy to play in.
It's a great space and a great group.

To add into the tables (there's enough terrain pieces that we could play,an easy 20 games and never use the same terrain twice), he's got about 18 armies, each (literally) pro-painted at about 10,000+ points each, that we can play plastic space mans with, if we didn't bring our own or if we want to change things up.

I agree with Alfndrate, that's a really classy (dare I say "posh") setup. I used to play with a group that sounds similar. Multiple tables, great folks, tons of terrain and more armies than I'd ever seen before. However, that that was in a basement. What you've got there looks like a gaming palace!
