Alright folks,

So I was wondering if anyone would be interested in posting a picture of their gaming table? I've been looking at terrain pieces and what have you, and thought I'd see what other people go for as a matter of interest.

Look forward to seeign your stuff

Cheers,

My "gaming table" for the moment consists of some space on the living room floor with random odds and ends conscripted for terrain. I'm hoping to get a proper gaming table built in the next few months, but that may take a while as I'm also saving up for a wedding as well.

Same here - I have a game tomorrow that'll probably be played on the garden paving as that's where the most room is!

Just had my wedding 4 weeks ago today, so I get the "saving up" line, pain the butt, but definitely worth it, I'm sure you'll have a great day. Congratulations dude

Quick addendum - "your" gaming table etc doesn't have to belong to you, I'm just interested in seeing what folk play on and how they like to lay things out, so pictures could be from a mates house or your flgs or whatever.

Thanks. I'm sure it'll be worth it when I see my parents' and her parents' reaction to the pair of killa kanz sitting on top of the wedding cake.

This is what I'm using at the moment, it's set up for Warmachine in that picture, usually has 6x4 of tiles for Warhammer.

A 4x4 table for my last game of Flames of War, 1000 pts.

It needs more terrain, to be honest. I'm hoping to have a couple of bridges, some more 'plowed' fields (you can see the one there in the middle, some 'crop' fields, bocage, and more buildings.

Quite nice. Custom, I'm guessing. What did you build it out of?

Legs are railroad ties. The sides are pine (I think) of some kind. It's framed in some kind of hardwood. The tabletop is felt (the top comes off, so you could change for a different material, I'm kind of wanting a red one for other board games).

The legs make it insanely stable, it's super duper heavy so it can't be jostled around. Which is nice, it prevent models from tipping over.

I requested it have sides to prevent models from hitting the floor.

I absolutely love it, it's so nice to have a luxury table to play on and not having to worry about models moving / breaking if you decide to take a break from a game for a couple of days.

The table probably weighs 300-400 lbs, but it doesn't slide easy because of it.

Hey Xeriapt... am I looking at this right? Can your board pieces be moved around to match up with each other in other formations?

(And awesome name! Is it from something?)

@Emerett: Damn that's a heavy table. But I guess I see your point. A heavy table would be a good table. But I sure as hell wouldn't want to be the fellow helping you move it

"Did you ever notice how in the Bible, when ever God needed to punish someone, or make an example, or whenever God needed a killing, he sent an angel? Did you ever wonder what a creature like that must be like? A whole existence spent praising your God, but always with one wing dipped in blood. Would you ever really want to see an angel?"

I end up playing on the dining room table. I still need to do a ground cloth for this, but here is Tophet Meadows Trailer Park:

Some really cool looking tables here, great idea for a topic by the way!

My WIP Infinity table, although it has some other stuff added to it since.

I've also got a BFG table, and quite big (about 8 x 4) winter-themed Eastern Front FoW table (although that still needs some more terrain).

I have a Realm of Battle Board, which is Necron-themed.

Previously I was using a Zuzzy terra-flex mat, which has a ton of little craters I made. Since I decided to switch to the Necron themed ROBB I only have one piece of terrain made so far, which was for a contest:

Right now I'm working on making Dawn of War themed terrain for the board.

Some of this stuff looks good. I look forward to seeing more.
