Not sure if I'll get the chance to paint my Infinity mini in time, but best of luck to all that participate!

And a BIG "Thank You" to Corvus Belli for offering such a great set of prizes.

Edit: I looked but couldn't find out; are we allowed to have more than one entry?

This screen doesn't photograph at all well, so to check before my improvisation royally screws things up, would a photo in front of a sheet of paper including my username, the date and something I couldn't've had knowledge of prior to that date (read: "stock market opening prices") pass muster?

I just discovered this range of models yesterday and ordered one last night.

As a side note, my local store carries these and amazingly, they are cheaper than the best price on ebay which to me is shocking.

I hope I can get them all done for the deadline.

This is a fantastic Idea.

GeekPlug has recently worked with Corvus Belli and they are a absolutely fantastic company.

I hope this project gives them tons of exposure.

Slowly but surely, Dakka is begin to grow?

Anyway.....

I took a photo of the model in front of my screen, but It's not exactly easy to read..... I already started painting it, though, so if it's not good enough nothing to be done as of now. I'll enter it, but I think I'm going to get disqualified....

Maaaan, now I wish I have Infinity models. They don't have those here. I can't order online since it'll take at least two months for them to get here. Bummer.

Hoping I can buy it locally from someone else's collection. I'd be happy to join a Dakka Painting Challenge again, and Infinity has really nice models I would love to paint up.

Ouch just looked into shipping rates to Manila to maybe give you a hand, but that is some painful shipping rates to get it there in time lol.

I know riiight. Appreciate the thought, though. I have been interested in playing Infinity for quite some time but there, it's not readily available.

I'll be joining this competition!!! Yay!

A friend of mine bought some last year and they're still unpainted. Yahoo!

Okay questions:

What does "single miniature" mean? Does it include statues, dead bodies, etc.?

Is there a limit to how big the bases are? Say, would putting the miniature on a 2x1x2 ft. hill constitute as a base?

I'm confused.

The beginning seems to hint that we're allowed to paint up multiple miniatures as a single collective entry.

Then the later part of the post seems to imply that you can only paint up a single model.

Which is it?

The beginning part of the rules aren't hinting that you are allowed to submit multiple models. Those are the general Dakka Painting Challenge rules so they are written to cover any kind of challenge (both those with multiple minis and those with only a single mini).

In this case, the challenge is to paint up a single Infinity model of your choice. You can always feel free to paint up a bunch of models to see which one comes out the best, but you can only submit a single model for your entry.

As for base size, you can feel free to go to town with whatever you want when it comes to the base, but keep in mind, again you are only submitting a single model. So you can't put a bunch of other models onto the base (except as casualties).

I will update the rules to make them even more clear.

@ Assassi-Nate: You're NOT supposed to tell people what you're working on. Entries have to be anonymous.

It'd be best to edit your choice of model out, otherwise it'll be quite easy for people to narrow down which entry is yours.

Ah thanks for the rules clarification. I'm going to have to reconsider what I'm painting now.
I guess I could, as you said, just paint up the things I was planning on doing and post the 'best' one.
