Okay, question time!

1) Is there a limit on what non-Infinity parts to use on the base? For example: using GW terrain bits, secret weapon resin bases, etc.
2) How about scratch-built parts on the conversions? For example: greenstuffed hair, plasticard weapons, etc.
3) How about printed illustrations for the bases? Movie posters, advertisements, to give just a few. All images will are not taken from anywhere else without permission of the makers of said images. Would that be alright?

If they're allowing the moderate use of parts from other manufacturers (it only has to be "primarily" CB parts), I can't see why they'd take offence to a degree of scratch work.

But if they do - shoot, that's me out of the running.

I was thinking more of the lines of using parts of vehicles from various toy companies. Dunno if it's allowed, though.

My models just arrived yesterday. Absolutely wonderful casts. Now to decide which of them to enter.

My model is painted and photographed - just got to get the WIP shot off the other computer and then send it in

Got a great package in the post today, time to get to work!

Me and my flatmate are both planning to enter this competition.

My flatmate was wondering: he has an unfinished model standing around, with a scratchbuilt base, and he posted a picture of that model, still unpainted, a few years back to show off the base itself.
Would he be allowed to paint up that model now and enter the competition with it?

An uncropped picture will work fine. WIP pics don't get posted into the comp thread, they are just for confirmation on the back end of things.

I will join too. Sadly some parts of my model were poorly casted, it took qute some time to fix...
But the rest is awesomely detailed and clean. looking forward to painting it.

Oh, I forgot to take a photo of the model's base. Can I just send a photo of the unpainted base (with an indication of the date on the background) and just montage it with the first photo of the unpainted model?

Dang, Im going to to do this.... not much time..

Whoops, painted my model in one session without doing a WiP... Will either photo the completed model as a WiP as I need to do a lot of touch ups anyways or paint a different one completely ^_^

A friend told me about this challenge only today !!! I have only a week !!! ARGH

And to be a little helpful while I'm at it - Yes, a mail with the finished mini, the WIP and your forum nick is needed.

I've had my model sitting on my desk staring at me for quite a while now, maybe I should start painting it..... well, there are still five days left.....

Made some good progress so far today. Might make the deadline.
