Who needs a super infanty unit? I had a lone guardsman sergent survive the death of his squad, pass his Ld and then go onto melta bomb the offending Baneblade, take off 2 structure points and immobilise it in one combat phase...just saying. Besides, infantry have special characters/monsterous creatures. Tanks have superheavies. Am I the only one here not following this correlation?

Lynx, everyone is getting angry because this fella is always suggesting stupid things, never improving at all, or even trying, and half of his proposed rules arent even proposed rules, they are just 'superman and kryptonite and superheavies and shiz'. I am paraphrasing.

Yes...and no one likes Mephiston because he's absolutely ridiculous. He's a demon prince disguised as a SM that can hid behind tanks.

Now, if everyone overcame the Black Rage, they may end up Mephiston. Eg, If Astorath fell to the Black Rage, or Seth or Dante, they could have their cpowers plus Str and T 6, and +3 wounds (over their standard).

While I can understand certain characters (Monster like ones, generally not infantry per say) but in all honesty, what you suggest is ridiculous and in all effectiveness OP.

Well according to the FAQ for Apocalypse Only troops can claim. So without lots of meat for the meat grinder there can be only ties. Also the idea of killing them with scarab swarms is great. Take out an Emperor that way. See opponent rage quit.

In it's heydey the Sporum was one of the most bizarrely funny places around. Now like the game it's attatched to it's a floating corpse waiting to die. But really the Science and Spore people take the cake in being some really straight up weird folks.

Now as for super heavy stats on a infantry base. Do you really want to see a bolter immune character who can take cover saves and instant death with his basic weapons. I mean, do you really want to see that.
