Lego i hate to say it, but the dreaded page rollover has only got worse since the update.

Ive had it done on 5 threads today, and 3 that have never had the issue before. :/

Missing pages, or page '2's appearing out of nowhere? The source of the bug is known, but testing it is tough and there are still quite a few use cases I had not tested so bound to be a few more glitches to wrap up. I put up a patch at 9.30 am today UK time which might have made things better or worse

Ummmm. Heres what happens:

- I post
- All the posts disappear, there is just the post topper and ender (if you know what i mean, the bits pro- and pre- ceeding the page numbers. No new page is added.
- I have to click back on the last page # again. Then the post appears at the bottom.
- Basically its post #30.

Lego, I am very glad you have finally fixed the new page though.I fear it is not complete. Occasionally when the disappearing page should occur, something else does. I find myaelf on a new thread page. Nothing posted. The details are at the top but there is just no messages and the page counter doesn't register me being on any page.

Now, its possible it may be my PC.or phone but just a heads up.

Ok Lego, it happened again.

Yeah I had one of those posting my reply in the 6th edition rumours thread. Felt like it was a lag/loading issue, but no real idea.

Pressed N&R and my post was already there when it loaded, so its not actually stopping the post.

No not at all, its just the recent update was supposed to stop it!

Ah well, I got that 30mins ago.

Same happened to me in the blog section, but his post did say it would iron it out of the old threads over time. For what it's worth even though I could not see my post someone else was able to reply to it which made it appear to me. So either when it does happen it happens to only a few or it happens for a short while I guess.

True true. Mainly bringing to attention because after the update i've actually noticed quite a large increase in the number of threads it occurs in. used to only be a select few repeat offenders, but ive seen in 6 new threads now.

I actually hadn't seen it happen before nor has it happened to me again yet.

When you see it happen, if you click refresh does it vanish? If you click back to the thread through the forum page, does that make it appear correctly as well?

When it happened to me, lego, the answer to both of those questions was "yes". It only appeared blank initially, once the page was reloaded or re-navigated to, it was fine.

Not tried refresh, but yes to everything else.

That is an improvement on the old bug then, where it would be invisible to everyone. Now it is just a minor display glitch which I should be able to iron out soon enough. Thanks for the debug info.

Do you have any info on the root cause of the bug, either.new or old.

Lego, I have just experianced the bug, and refresh DID NOT fix the problem.

But clicking out to the main thread list and back in did fix it?

Clicking out to the forum fixed it for me. Hasn't happened since either, so just the one off for me so far.

Yes. In fact, hitting the back key too, but that added the post to the last page.

While I do like the new breakdown of posts in what forum, is there any way you can bring back the ability to see what threads a user has started? I see that you can still pull up individual posts but I find it a great help to be able to see what P&M threads/blogs has created when they post a cool pic or what a person's trade post history is in the Swap Shop.
