Just got back from seeing The Avengers and have to agree, The Hulk was pretty damn funny!

While I don't know if we want yet another attempt at re-booting a Hulk movie, that once scene was even more hilarious to me personally;
Spoiler:
I have a little kitten named Loki who is insanely mischevious and typically will pounce on & beat-up our older kitten, Stitch who is about twice little Loki's size... Occasionally though, Stitch will wait untill Loki isn't paying the slightest bit attention, and then pound the hell out of her!

That scene with The Hulk pounding Loki & repeatedly slaming him into the floor is so reminisent of the odd times Stitch will 'hulksmash!' poor little Loki and leave her flat on her back, wondering what the hell just hit her!

I love that scene to death, best scene in the movie if you ask me. I was crying from laugher. XD

Uhg, dont remind me of that steamer. I actually had to ASK if that was "deadpool" in the movie

Nope, wasn't Deadpool. Hell, Ryan Reynolds didn't even play Wade Wilson (the movie lied). Wade Wilson was the exact opposite of Deadpool-cold, precise, and had no sense of humor. He didn't develop the humor, the insane fighting styles that shouldn't work or anything that Deadpool is until AFTER his cancer "treatment." So, no, Deadpool and Wade Wilson were never actually in the Wolverine movie. As one of the biggest Marvel junkies on the website, I can confirm his lack of involvement. FOX tried to lie to us (again).

Reynolds would be great for a real Deadpool though, if Marvel EVER finally decides to guarantee it-voice, sense of humor, and Reynolds' face being what you see when he uses his image inducer. Wouldn't be hard. And a scarred up Reynolds face could work too when the inducer wasn't in use.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Didn't Reynolds also somewhat distance himself from it later as well and say he would love to do a real Deadpool movie?

He was great in the Avengers, but the character is just too one-dimensional and a one-trick pony... he can't sustain a whole film.

Henners, the more you talk.....the more I dont like your posts Hulk = Pure awesomesauce.

As too Deadpool - Let me clarify, when watching the movie I said "ERm..............is that suppose to be Deadpool?" So you see, I knew it was a terrible rendition of Deadpool...if it was indeed deadpool I think it was some weird, WTF, topsy turvy world, version of Deadpool.

I think this would actually be a great idea. Also after seeing the end credits scene, I think Planet Hulk would fit perfectly into the series considering the direction The Avengers 2 is going in.

But he did just that in the Edward Norton movie...

I was never a fan of the Hulk before Ed Nortons movie, and so I'm rather iffy about the new guy playing Hulk. Haven't seen it yet, though.

I would love another movie of the Hulk if the new guy is up to it. Also, Red Hulk. Red Hulk please

Ruffalo did a far better job with Banner/Hulk than Norton did in my opinion.

Norton played Banner as kind of a whiny git, and I was very much okay with him being saddled with that "curse".

No. NO. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Spoiler:
I wouldn't probably hate the whole thing as much if they didn't go with pants-on-head-stupid route of having General Ross become Super Hulk aka Red Hulk and Betsy become Red She Hulk. I refer to him as Super Hulk because he is at least as powerful as Hulk, if not more so, and he retains his personality and intelligence. I almost forgot about Rick becoming Blue Abomination. It had a great build up but a huge let down and has been craptistic since.

Iron man 3?

I don't know how much there is to do with the Hulk after the first movie, but didn't he bust up an M1 Abrams and an Apache and some stuff? I can't remember.

The M1 Abrams was the 2003 Ang Lee movie. Both that and the Incredible Hulk both had helicopters, but only the latter had an Apache, but it was very short lived.

I loved it when he kicked the gak out of those tanks. That was just awesome. Specially when he simply hurled that one a good mile away

I hated the film when I first saw it and looking back at it now I haven't changed my mind, the tanks don't even slightly deform when the hulk smashes them!

2003 hulk was nowhere near strong enough

Hulk-jumping was cool but even with that the 2003 film just did not get the sense of momentum right and the ground didn't really deform either

This scene, however, is very kinetic.

What happens at the end credits? We all left the cinema straight away. I suppose introducing the cosmic element with the Skrull was pointing toward the whole space and I remember the news castors showing misgivings about the avengers. Though personally I thought it was closer to moving onto registration and civil war. Since they have the shield carrier putting the hulk on a rocket and blasting him away makes kinda sense.

Trouble is, you need smart hulk to do Planet Hulk, though I think I saw a cartoon adaptation which was had the Hulk closer to the monster but even then and I don't think the avengers one was quite smart hulk. Yes he could be reasoned with and doesn't attack everything on sight; but he never has dialogue Plus I liked Cairea in that. BTW in the actual comic why is he constantly the Hulk without reverting to Banner unless he 'lets him out' is it just hes constantly mad about being kicked off Earth by the Avengers?

Spoiler:
The scene shows The Other, the leader of the Chitauri -- the alien race recruited by Loki in his attempt to vanquish the Earth -- talking to a mysterious figure. The Other says that they were mislead by Loki and that humans are stronger than they believed. He tells the figure, "To challenge them is to court death." The figure turns, revealing the purple face and glowing eyes of Thanos.

Like almost any comic as old as The Hulk a lot of it depends on the time period and the writer. Hulk has gone through a lot of changes over the years. Sometimes he can control it, sometimes not. Sometimes he retains his intelligence, sometimes not. Most of the time he is green, but originally he was grey and was occasionally so off and on later. At one point he was even a Las Vegas enforcer/bouncer.

I always hate in movies and TV when they watch security camera footage of an event and it is just the film of the scene we just saw but in black and white, or some other mild distortion.

It's really silly when security cameras footage pan and zoom in on dramatic points... or when looking through a sniper scope, and it zooms in and out. Scopes don't work that way (or most of them don't).

You should read the comic book, then. Or rather, you really shouldn't. It's just as you describe the film but more so. I hated it.
