Duncan, B.C

I'm torn between Harlequins and elder Rangers. I love the idea of outcast snipers that move like the wind and cause chaos and anarchy in the enemy ranks. I also love the Harlequin models and the idea of a squad of battle clowns smashing into the Emperor's holiest warriors and making THEM look like the fools.

I have this one Assault Sgt. who in 19 games has only died once, he has stood his ground against 14 genestealers and not ran, picked a fight with a unit of Meganobs and tarpitted them all game. The man has done wonders may the Emperor keep watching over him

This man is wise beyond his posts. And as a fellow avatar-ist...I must call thee friend. One hand is extended as friendship, the other holds a holy object with a pin

Flamers and the Masque are a dastardly combination

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Perfect Shot Black Templar Predator Pilot

I have a veteran marine with a chainsword and bolt pistol. In the early days he was a regular marine captain, killing a carnifex and a remaining brood of genestealers in his first game. He then got demoted to tactical sergeant, before being promoted to Sword Brother for my BT. He's done a few cool things, like killing 3 GK termies as a sergeant, or surviving 4 krak missiles in the open as a Sword Brother. Most notably, he's never failed his leadership check though all the time I've had him.

I just LOVE Terminators. Of all types. Regular, Assault, Chaos, Grey Knight, whatever, as long as it's wearing TDA, I love it.

Pile of Necron Spare Parts

One of my favorites, Steel Legion Heavy Weapons Team. Three Missile Launchers, very fragile unit and dies almost every game, but not without causing frustration to my opponents. They held a Termie Lord in combat for three turns, with the Lord needing help from two different squads of marines to take them out. They earned a permanent spot in my army for that.

My favorite, the Deceiver from the old Necron Codex. I loved the model, that stats, the abilities and the look of horror on my friends face as it tore through their squads as though they were nothing. The look of horror was even better when they learned it could run from assault on their turn and head to a more appropriate target that needed dealing with.

I have grown to love Missle only Devs.
I use them to guard objectives, they may not be able to capture, but dang they are a massive determent.
Especailly when i put the objective in a tower. They got a clear shot of ALL of the enemies.

Imperial guard: Because quantity has a quality of it's own.

Sisters of Battle can be used in any game, with the exception of chess, Monopoly and of course, Warhammer 40,000.

After 8 editions, you might have thought that GW could get fantasy right.

I've never actually seen a stormhammer or seen it's rule but it sounds like its something that I would be interested in.

Storm raven despite it's box like consistency is my fav flyer though the valk comes in very very close

Long Fangs and Lone Wolves were the biggest reason I picked up Space Wolves. Definitely think they are some of the coolest non-named units out there.

Dreadnoughts of any sort are one of the biggest reasons for picking up Power Armour boyz to begin with.

This. Which is precisely the reason I'd put three Landraiders on the table. I know it's not comp. Doesn't win games. Doesn't buy its points back. Then why? It's fething EPIC.

The Leman Russ, the workhorse of the imperium. On the table the Russophobia combined with good armor and great firepower is wonderful, their fluff is great, a steel beast that never stops, runs on anything that burns. Wonderful tank.

Also, storm troopers, Krieg, Cadian and original kind, they're sweet models with awesome fluff

As a Tau player who still gunlines, Firewarriors and Suits are my favorite.

Also, as much as I hate Farsight's fluff and the fanwankery that's followed, he's made an above average counter assault unit and his body guard absolutely killinate anything they look at.

my full squad of scourges with 4 heatlances. they die mainly to the vehicles they make explode and they don't give 2 cents if im winning or losing, they always run away to survive because they fail leadership all the freaking time.

It's amazing when a unit isnt suicidal for the name of some cause I told them.

As an IG player I gotta say Marbo. There's something so damn satisfying about making him appear out of thin air behind something that urgently needs killing and throwing a demo charge at it.
At 65 points for what is essentially a reliable suicide bomber he's my favourite by far, he almost always kills multiples of his points cost and has been a total gamechanger a few times.

Did I mention his fluff is pretty cool too?

Leman. Russ. Battle. tank. It's a repurposed tractor with a giant gun and armor bolted to it. And its arguably one of the best tanks in the game.

My other favorite are my commissars. they always hold the line, and look cool as all get out on the table. Now if they could just hit smething I'd be set

Trust me, this thing is amazing at wiping out Horde armies in a short amount of turns. It's held the line against Tyranid and Ork tides more than I can count.

I once played a Grey Knights player with my Stormhammer, he asked why I was using it.

Because it's awesome that's why
