Stormwall in June, Conquest and the book in July, Kraken in August.

If trends continue, that would but the Judicator in September and the Galleon and Elf ones in October and November(which order is your guess).

From Matt Wilson's web pages, the assembly diagram for Stormwall.

Matt Wilson wrote:Okay, maybe these aren’t exactly stolen plans, but you’re not going to find them anywhere else, at least for a while. Through total random happenstance, the assembly diagram for the Stormwall Colossal was included in an email to me this morning from Privateer HQ. The discussion was actually in reference to the manufacturing of the Stormwall legs, which are undergoing some revision in order to make them more efficient to produce to our quality standards, so these specs will be out of date at some point in the near future. But for now, at least I’m back in business putting this thing together!

I would add that the basic rules for Colossals can be found in NQ 42, which is released this week.

I would also add some of the things we know about the rules for the individual colossals from the NQ.

Current Armies: Blood Angels, Imperial Guard (40k), Skorne, Retribution (Warmachine), Vampire Counts (Fantasy)

Two ball joints on each arm. One ball joint on each chain gun.

Legs have the no pose options whatsoever that we've come to know and love on our warjacks.

The kit's been broken in to lots of bitz for casting purposes, but there's hardly more poseability there then with the very unposeable jack kits. Maybe the leg issue that Mr. Wilson mentions will lead to two part legs?

That's not quite true, as evidenced by the fact that we've seen the Conquest's legs in two different configurations.

Really, though, for a model of that size and price range, I'd rather the legs were solid, load-bearing parts rather than introduce a critical failure point at the knee.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

Likely wouldnt be much of a problem. The resin is super light.

I don't mind the legs being one piece each. I prefer it actually. Is there really that much you want and can posing such a huge Warmachine?

and a ball joint in a leg of that size would have plenty of surface area for the glue to hold.

of course it would be advisable to use epoxy instead of CA but that's not too hard.

Not game breaking? I think you're missing the POW 17 reach thresher with electroleap.

A bit game breaking, but I think that's mostly to throw more jacks at the colossals rather than your fancy weapon master infantry on the charge.

With Mat 6 at Def 10 and Arm 19.

It's nowhere near game breaking.

And the Thresher is a Power Attack, which means it can't do it if it Charged.

I wonder what those pods do once they're down...

Most likely act as further Triangulation points for Stormcallers.

I'd love to be wrong, though, and have them actually do other things like buff Stormnouns or electrical attacks(and I don't even play Swans).

Apparently someone (Will I think?) hinted that the pods can be used for Stormsmith triangulation once they're down.

P.S. Here's The War Store's sales blurb for the eeAsphyxious preorder.

"More than one thousand years of preparation has brought Asphyxious closer than ever to his goal of rising above the other lich lords to stand as Toruk’s most invaluable general. He alone holds the key to unleashing the terrible might of the Nightmare Empire. To aid him in his great work, Asphyxious has applied his impressive mastery of thrall runes to craft Vociferon, a skarlock perfectly equipped to serve as a conduit for souls. Vociferon’s battle standard of death and discord resonates with unholy intent, for it was made to collect the essences of all who perish within its reach and fuel Asphyxious’ fell sorceries.

The Asphyxious the Hellbringer epic warcaster & Vociferon solo come in a blister (PIP 34095). A player may field one Asphyxious the Hellbringer & Vociferon a Cryx army."

The rules are... fine. As already said, nothing that seems gamebreaking. It's always nice if I buy a new unit only for the model and not for the rules. Happens way to often with Privateer.

Do we know that else will be in the Colossal book besides the giant 'Jacks and Epic Epic Warcasters? And how many of those do you think we'll see?

I don't think there's anything else. Just colossals, ee's for Cryx, Khador, Cygnar and Menoth while Ret gets its first epic and Mercs get a new dwarf caster. Nothing has been said about anything else and even their sales blurb for the book made no hint or mention of there being any additional stuff. If there's anything else then their ability to keep it a total surprise puts GW to shame so far.

Is it just me or do those guys sound like they have no idea what they're talking about in that video? Fig looks cool though. I hope they all come out that nice and that's not just something they got special for the video with above average care and quality, because the quality of the resin on the two battle engines I put together recently left much to be desired.

Yeh Beasts of War is a terrible group of idiots for the most part, sorry about that. Nice look at the kit though as you say. Just a shame it wasn't Warren doing the video but at least it wasn't Darrell.

Not really blown away by the rules really. It's good, but far from game breaking. Sure, power 17 reach thresher is nice, but it's only one quarter of its base. And Cygnar has no shortage of electro-leap so that's not overpowered. And the chainguns that Cygnar currently has are rarely used so not impressed by two more here. And the big guns seem very lack luster too.

Again, it's not bad at all, just not game breaking. And I really am happy for that as I didn't want Colossals to be must buys, and I didn't want them sub-pat like a lot of battle engines. Seems like PP is balancing them well.
