Not game breaking? I think you're missing the POW 17 reach thresher with electroleap.

With Mat 6 at Def 10 and Arm 19.

It's nowhere near game breaking.

Agreed, I think the Deathjack could almost kill it on the charge if charged up with focus, with parasite and dark shroud it wouldn't last long at all. But my mechanithralls would be gone against this in no time.

But this is good! It means it's balanced. Privateer press are good at that. I think they didn't do the battle engines that well, too conservative. But this seems good.

We love what we love. Reason does not enter into it. In many ways, unwise love is the truest love. Anyone can love a thing because. That's as easy as putting a penny in your pocket. But to love something despite. To know the flaws and love them too. That is rare and pure and perfect.

BOLS has a preview for the new Rhulic Warcaster:

He seems to like Trench Warfare.

Nice to see the IK dwarfs get some more love since the two Minion factions already have 3 Warlocks each already.

While we're at it, this was given on the F&F forums as a semi-reliable spoiler for the Generals spell list, though a note to add salt to taste. If true, it's a pretty sweet spell list though.

Spell list includes: Bullet Dodger, Energizer, Fire for Effect, Lock the Target, Snipe, Unstoppable Force.

Unstoppable Force 2 Self Ctrl – Yes No
While in this modelʼs control area, models in its battlegroup gain Bulldoze. (When a model with Bulldoze advances into B2B contact with an enemy model during its activation, it can push that model up to 2˝ directly away from it. A model can be pushed by Bulldoze only once per activation. Bulldoze has no effect when this model makes a trample power attack.)

He also has Martial Discipline

Martial Discipline is the skill from Xerxis, where you can move through friendly infantry models, right?

An infantry heavy Rhulic Caster. Now all they need is, you know, another unit or two.

Damn PP seems to be incapable of not being to damn awesome. I was just thinking of jumping into W40k (since myy 50 pts army was over), but after seeing the new concept art of Kreoss, I guess I'll have to wait till July-August to decide which game win my heart... and my wallet

Now THAT is a colossal! Menoth from every angle, fantastic detail, so much so that it's making me consider taking up Menoth over Mercs next.

Ossrum's Tier list doesn't look that great, it's a copy/paste of one of Magnus' in spirit. However that spell list is pretty awesome

That is super nice - I wish the Menoth Warjacks looked more like that. They tend to be a bit on the goofy side imo.

I thought / from what I read most people did, that his tier list is pretty good! Tier 3 giving him all his upkeepable spells, of which he has 4.

Or do you mean you just find it uninteresting (i.e. not ineffective) since it's similar to Magnus'?

The rocket launchers on the Menoth jack look a bit odd, but otherwise it's pretty sweet. A giant Avatar. I hear it has to get a bunch of filigree sculpted on yet so you'll likely see the Galleon first would be my guess.

Hit the nail on the head. It has very few requirements to go up the tier levels as well, which is better than Magnus (along with having more upkeep spells), however it looks bland in general.

Well, I'll take uninteresting / few requirements if it's good since dwarfs have so few options, anyway. I was shocked how many requirements Gorten Grundback's tier has... 4 units, what?

Anyway, "General Awesome" is what's getting me to start Rhulic as he seems to address so many of their weaknesses.

I don't think we've had any previews of the model yet, right? There is a pic of art on his page on battle college, but that's all I've seen...

Crusader, we're talking Mountain King over in the Gargantuans thread here

Still craving any and all tidbits about Ossrum- I'm sure there's art for him in the Colossals book, hopefully one of the local guys coming back from Lock 'n Load will have snagged a copy.

Is anyone else completely underwhelmed by the Kraken? It just looks like a tennis ball with a pencil stuck in it. Not at all like an angry colossal hybrid of monster and machine.

"Did you ever notice how in the Bible, when ever God needed to punish someone, or make an example, or whenever God needed a killing, he sent an angel? Did you ever wonder what a creature like that must be like? A whole existence spent praising your God, but always with one wing dipped in blood. Would you ever really want to see an angel?"

It looks like a giant tick to me... TBH I find it the worst of all the Colossals / Gargantuans, serves the dirty Cryxians right!

Looks like a giant bullet trap to me. Especially near the head and missile launchers, and around the upper legs. "Let's just ricochet some rounds towards important features"

I had kinda hoped that the Judicator would look really weedy and uninspiring so that I wouldn't have to figure out how to pay for one.

Sigh. No such luck. That thing is going to look like a boss on the battlefield.

I like the Kraken, just wish it had more arms.

But then that would mean it needed rules for the arms and make it OP

Yes, that's the first thing I look for! You have to have real world armour placement angles, otherwise that giant, coal powered, bipedal robot just isn't believable...

Having now seen the stats for the Stormwall and the Mountain KIng the KIng seems grossly underpowered for his points! For basically the same points his two fists are a point weaker and he has only one ranged attack compared to what four for the cygnar collossal, plus the Mountain king has eight less damage! Thats alot to make up, especially without Regeneration. One less Mat, two less Str and one less Def. Yet still cost one more point than its collossal counterpart! Awesome model but somewhat disappointing rules :(

While it doesn't have Regen, it has two other types of regen in Whelps and Snacking.

Church: So it is a sword, It just happens to function like a key in very specific situations.
Caboose: Or it's a key all the time, and when you stick it in people, it unlocks their death.

You really can't compare models across factions like that (much less across different game systems even).

Trolls have a much higher access to both DMG and ARM buffs than Cygnar, it is allot easier to heal a Warbeast when compared with a Warjack (even more so in the Mountain Kings case, if you can't kill it in one round, next round he'll probably be healed close to full), and to top it all of, the Stormwall has 3 FOC and the Mountain King has 5 Fury.

Though the fury is great at 5, it does have the lowest Thres i think ive seen ( 6 right?) and snacking is no good in a fight against a jack or collossal. The whelps are nice if you get a chance to eat them. The stormwall also has access to mechanics which helps it so its not totally outclassed in support. Durability aside though the sad part is that the Cygnar Collossal hits harder not only in the expexted range but in melee! Thats very surprising, i can only imagine that the conquest would probably take out said mountain king in two fist strikes! Believe me i think its probably the best looking collossal/gargantuan so far but he should hits alot harder!!!
